Shattered? Multiverse
Doodle Sphere
Ink shifted anxiously, tempted to grab some of his lighter vials to drink but he knew that is not what was needed in this situation. He did take a sip from his blue vial though, staring in utter confusion and worry as Shattered calmly sat on the living room floor and held a flower he had created for them earlier.
It was kind of unnerving to see how placid they were being, the corrupted monster simply examining the flower with a surprisingly soft hold and mumbling nonsense to themselves.
It was only him and NIghtmare in the house right now, having sent all the mortals back to their homes to rest, knowing their bodies were running on fumes trying to capture and deal with Shattered.
They had held Shattered here for nearly two weeks now, sometimes feeling he was dealing with a young child with how they explored his home their lack of coordination had greatly worried him and been quick to make the surfers soft after Shattered nearly hurt themselves on a table corner. None of his wards had activated and even the magic restraining cuffs were untampered, Nightmare confirming that this wasnt a trick or some long term con to make them lower their guards.
He still wasnt happy by this though, actually feeling worse as that meant they had no idea why Shattered randomly collapsed or why they were acting like a completely different person.
"..what did you make for them, Ink? They've been staring at it for over two hours now"
"Its a simple flower. Nothing special about it"
He replied to Nightmare, both watching Shattered poke the white petals with a curiosity he had more often seen in children.
"Did anything like this happen when you ate the apples?"
He didnt care how blunt he was being, ignoring Nightmares brief glower at the question but he kept his eyes on Shattered, twitching when they tried to nibble the plant.
Nightmare grumbled and sighed but it was all for show, knowing Ink wasnt trying to be their usual idiotic self with that question and could see they were genuinely concerned what a Corrupted apple could do to someone. He was glad he sent his group back home though, not wanting them to see his brother like this in such a vulnerable state.
He trusted his group enough to know they wouldnt hurt Shattered but they were also sadly massive idiots, pretty sure they would try and take his twin out for a walk and lose Shattered or try and teach them stupid things. He wouldn't be shocked if Killer tried to show Shattered how to juggle knives when they were in such a calm state, sometimes feeling like he was dealing with children that just had adults bodies.
"It didnt, Ink. I got a power rush and acted on instinct for a while but there wasnt any regression in the process"
He sighed and gently took the white flower out of Shattereds hand, passing over a pillow instead and relieved when that entertained them, feeling a pang in his SOUL at how this reminded him of better times before the apples. They looked so innocent, a part of him wishing they could stay like this and he could give them a better life but he quickly shook that off.
That was a terrible idea and considering Ink, the soulless wonder hadn't even brought it up, showed it really was something better left forgotten. He quietly discussed other options with the Creator, insisting Ink call Error for this and making a face when Ink suggested they might have to bring Sci into this.
