End and Origin have a wonderful date, while the Nightmare in DreamSwap is desperately trying to hold onto his sanity

??? Multiverse

Screams rang out through the air.

The local monsters prayed for a saviour to help them but they knew that it was futile, the protector long gone once those two monsters entered their lives.

Nowhere was safe, some swearing that the two strangers wore the faces of familiar monsters like some sort of horror story, fear entering the hearts of all who saw them with the sky almost seeming to be constantly stained a sharp grey with all this smoke and fires spanning as far as the eye could see.

There was no hope at all and all prayed to a seemingly uncaring god, wondering what they had done to deserve having such demons in their lives.

"You truly know how to pick the best places, End!"

Origin chirped happily, near overdosing on paints multiple times in his sheer excitement, this the third multiverse they had explored so far and was enjoying seeing all the art. He indulged in examining the creativity of each AU they passed, getting inspiration to add to the few multiverses he was creating in his free time.

This truly was one of the best dates they had been on in a while, already having fought a couple of Deities and got a few trophies from it which he was sure the kids would love. He had also smugly won a multiverse in a poker match, loving betting against Errors' with far too high egos as they always underestimated him especially when he went with his 'dizzy' routine.

His mate had truly planned the best date so far, trying to think how to one up this when it was his turn to arrange it. He sighed lovingly as he watched End throw their strings out and rip apart the Code, itching to draw the scene despite already filling up five sketchbooks already but it was hardly his fault that they looked so cute having fun!

"Hahahaha. Run little ants. Let me remove the impurities in your pathetic Code!"

Exploring a multiverse with such Code was always a treat, getting to further practise his own Code editing with little real consequence if he failed as the current place was already starting to degrade.

It was frankly impressive it had stayed standing for so long but it was great for the two of them, as he got to admire it and practice, while End got to satisfy some of their official 'role', despite both no longer being truly beholden to such things.

He sometimes wondered if their original multiverse was still going or if another Creator had taken over, thinking they could maybe stop by later if they had time. They did plan to try and look for Star's original multiverse for a little chat with a few of the monsters there, it was surprisingly harder to locate then he hoped but with how vague Star was and how hard it was to read their Code they only had little information to go off of.

It had only been a day since they left the kids to a babysitter but so far there didn't seem to be any issues, his youngest being an absolute dear and texting regularly Sirius truly was a gem and the Dream kept encouraging him and End to take as long as they wanted.

It was such a kind offer and one he was happily to take up on, checking on his phone to confirm the time dilation of the current multiverse, such a useful function his mate had added for him a few years using a complicated work of Code that he still struggled to fully comprehend.

He smiled pleased and looked up when he heard his mate laugh again, perking up when he saw a small army with it seeming they would be having a fun game.
