Chloe pov:

After eating lunch, I excused myself from Red by telling her I was gonna study in the library. Which wasn't a lie. I'm just not studying for school. She waved goodbye, and I headed there. I found an empty table in a quiet corner. I opened my book and wrote down everything I can remember. The whole speech at lunch. what she was telling me this morning. Any and all info I could remember I wrote down. She's been strangely different today, I don't think I've seen her this happy since we met. At least now I know she's actually able to smile. Soon, the bell rang, and I had to head to class. When I walked in, I noticed Red sitting in the front row. That's strange. I thought she always sat in the back row with all the other anti socials. So I went to my usual spot, which was the second row right behind her. I opened my books and was ready for history class.

Teacher: today well be learning about the Isle of the Lost. I know most of you know a lot about it, but we will go more in-depth.

I see Red raise her hand.

Red: What is the Isle?

Everyone gasped at her sentence. Everyone knows about it.

Red: What I was isolated in Wonderland, I have never heard of that place before.... I have heard a little about Auradon, but not really.

Teacher: Well, it's a small island where all the villains were casted away decades ago. Your royal highness.

Red: Just call me Red.

The teacher looked a little stunned. I lifted my hand, giving him a thumbs up. Red turns around, and I quickly put my hand down. She raised an eyebrow before turning back.

Teacher: ok then Red. Your mother was also a villain, but she ran off to Wonderland, Auradon had locked her in to make sure she didn't attack.

Red: Why wasn't she banished with the rest?

Teacher: Well, it was simply easier to just lock the rabbit hole.....but as I was saying today, we are here to talk about the Isle of the Lost since next week well be going on a field trip there.

The whole class cheered. Red then turns to face me again.

Red: Why are people happy to go there? Isn't it a bad place?

She says, whispering.

Chloe: it used to be, I feel like you would like it too.

Teacher: I'll ask some questions, and we'll see how many people can answer correctly. First question: What was the population?

I lifted my hand in excitement.

Teacher: Yes, Chloe.

Chloe: 3285

Teacher: correct.

Red: Wait, why so many I thought only villain got banished?

Teacher: Yes. It started off being a smaller population when they were banished, but those villains had kids and such, so the population grew over the years. Does anyone know the population when the villains got banished?
Student: 1867.

Teacher: Exactly.

The teacher then continued to talk all about the Isle and all the laws they had there or lack thereof and who sorta was in charge of the island. Which was mostly Maleficent and the other more known villains. Being behind Red, I could smell her perfume a little more than usual. She smelled like roses, but it was like a little spice was added. It smelled amazing. Every time her hair swayed, I got a whiff. Her scene kinda stung, but in a good way. I leaned back away from her. I can't think these thoughts, especially when it's about her. I tried to focus on the teacher for the rest of the class. The last class for today was science. I love science class, and we learn so many cool things in that class. Red decided to walk with me down the halls. Once we got in the classroom, we sat beside each other.
