Part 18 - New Rules Who This?

Red pov:

It's Monday morning. I got up and ate breakfast with Chloe like usual. Sadly, most of the students were still scared of me. Chloe was the 1 student who wasn't scared of me. We were sitting at our table.

Chloe: I'm sorry you had to go through that growing up.

Red: Go through what?

Chloe: Watch all those beheadings? That's not normal, especially for a child.

Red: Well, it was normal for me. After the 20th time, i just stopped feeling sad for those who were gonna lose their heads.

As I was saying that Mal and Evie walked into the cafeteria. Everyone looked at them.

Student: omg you guys are ok!

Student: I knew you guys would escape.

Student: Now you can take over as queen again.

Evie: Settle down, everyone. We got a few things to say.

Mal: we wanted to formally thank a special someone who helped us escape the dungeon in Wonderland.

Evie: If it wasn't for this person, we would not be here right now.

I looked at Chloe a little nervous, not knowing what these 2 had planned. I just watched and listened as I sat at my table.

Mal: Evie and I would like to thank Red here for saving us.

Everyone then looked at me.

Student: Wait, she is actually the one who saved you?

Evie: Yes, her, Chloe, and Uma are the reason we are now no longer locked in Wonderland.

The students then clapped for me and Chloe. The bell rang, and the students headed to class. Evie then gave Chloe a notebook.

Evie: You had left this, so I figured I'd bring it back to you.

She then got closer to Chloe as she whispered something in her ear I couldn't hear. I then got up and walked up to them as Chloe left for class, too.

Red: So, was there another reason you guys came here?

Mal: I wanted to help you.

Red: Help me with what?

Mal: I want to make a deal with you.

Red: ok, let's go to Uma's office, and we'll make a contract for it.

We then headed there. I sat in Uma's chair as she sat on the sofa. Mal and Evie were sitting in front of me.

Red: So what's this deal about?

Mal: Well, since your mother is in a coma, I figured I could help you take care of the things you probably don't want to, so you can focus on being a student.

Red: What things?

Mal: Well, I know how to be a queen, so I offer my experience. Auradon is a little different from Wonderland. I may not know how your mother used to run things there.... but I do know that Auradon is bigger and more complicated.

Red: So you want to run Auradon?

Mal: I just want to take the responsibilities off your hands since you're still a student. It wouldn't be wise for you to just miss school.

Red: ok, but I have full veto powers over Auradon. Everything I say goes..... I'll let you help me run the country, but in return, I will need you to be locked back up in Wonderland when my mom wakes up.
