Part 29 - White Bunny

Red pov:

I woke up in the morning a little groggy but rested. I roll over and notice I'm holding something that wasn't there before. I laid on my back as I'm slowly becoming more aware of my surroundings. What's that on my chest, I rubbed on something soft before I opened my eyes and saw a whole stuffy on my chest. I grabbed it and lifted it up to take a better look. What the? How did this get in my bed. Who's is this? It ain't mine for sure. Once awake enough, I sit up on my bed co fused as ever. I then saw Chloe get out of the washroom.

Chloe: Good morning. How was sleep.

She said strangely casual.

Red: Who's is this? And why was it in my bed?

Chloe then walks up to me.

Chloe: Well, I woke up to you crying in your sleep.... so I thought I would give you my stuffed rabbit I had in my closet to help soothe you, and it worked.

Red: Wait, I was crying in my sleep?

Chloe: Oh yeah, tears and all.

I then remembered how my dream went from a nightmare about my mom to a happy memory with Chloe. It felt weird when it happened, but I guess it makes more sense why it changed so suddenly.

Red: Oh..... well, here's your stuffy back.

I say as I hold it out to give it back. Chloe places her palm on it and pushes it back to me.

Chloe: I want you to have it.

Red: Why? It's not even mine.

Chloe: it's yours now. You keep him.

She then smiles at me and leaves the room. I get up and get dressed, but before I leave, I decide to grab the rabbit and hug it. I then noticed Chloe at the door that was now open.

Chloe: Awe..... you do have a heart.

My eyes shot up to see the girl. I gave her a death glare before smirking and putting the rabbit on my bed before running towards her.

Chloe: Oh shoot!

She said her eyes wide as she sprints down the hall. Down the stairs and when I was just about to reach her at the entrance of the cafeteria she suddenly turned around with her arms open as I practically tried to stop but ended up running into her as she then hugged me tightly not letting me go for a moment.

Chloe: You fell right I to my trap.

She said, pulling me in closer to her.

Red: Chloe, I'm not a hugger.

I say, trying to gently push her off. She squeezed me again before letting go as she held my arm.

Chloe: That's how you looked last night hugging the rabbit.

She giggled before she let go of me and walked away to get her food like normal. I just stood there watching her walk past me before following her to our table.

Chloe: Are you excited for tomorrow?

Red: What's tomorrow?

Chloe: we get to go see the Isle of the Lost.

Red: Wait, that's tomorrow?

Chloe nods.

Chloe: Maybe we should ask Mal and Evie to come with us.

Red: Hmm, that would make me understand her life back when she was also locked up as a vk..... sure I'll invite them.

Chloe: So you like your new rabbit?
