Part 5 - Put You in Your Place

Red pov:

Chloe then followed me to class as she walked beside me. We could hear students behind us talking about us. I turn around, making them stop in their tracks as my guards move over a little.

Red: I'm sorry. Are you too much of a wimp to say that to my face?

Student: I uh...

Red: Go on, tell what you just told your friend here.

The student looked scared.

Student: I said, "How that that blue haired girl walk that close to you without fearing for her life?"

Red: Chloe... why don't you answer their lovely question, since it seems to be for you, huh?

I smiled at the girl waiting for Chloe's response.

Chloe: I'm not fully sure yet, actually.... I guess it's because she's my roommate and isn't actually super scary sometimes.

Red: Next time, just ask the questions to the person instead of behind their back.

We then continued to walk to class. Chloe decided she wanted to sit next to me, so I let her. We now had English class, so our teacher decided since it was the first class that we would write about ourselves. She hands us each a blank sheet. Everyone starts to write. As I'm writing, I can feel Chloes eyes shifting to my paper.

Red: Chloe, stop looking at my paper.

She then jolts back and continues to write on her own paper. After about 10 minutes, the teacher told us to stop writing.

Teacher: Would anyone like to read theirs at loud?

Chloe raised her hand.

Teacher: Chloe, you go first.

Chloe: I'm Chloe Charming, I grew up in Cinderellasburg, a small and cozy kingdom with my mom, dad, and brother. I love to read and follow the rules. I also love sword fighting and making new friends. I always try to stay positive no matter what happens in life. I hope this year can maybe get better since I now lost my dear mother, the most important person I had in my life.

I looked at her as she shed a tear.

Teacher: I'm so sorry to hear that, Chloe.... was there anyone else who wanted to share their paper?

I raise my hand.

Teacher: Yes, your royal highness, go ahead.

I take a deep breath, skimming my paper before standing up to speak as everyone's eyes are now on me.

Red: I am Princess Red of Wonderland, I've lived there my entire life and spent 16 years being raised by the Queen of Hearts. No one in Auradon knows what it's like to live a day in my life. I never had a friend nor met anyone my age before I came here. I expected to go to school like a normal girl, but that's not the case. I hope this life treats me better here than it did in Wonderland.

I then sit down. Everyone's eyes are still looking at me. I gestured them to turn back back around as the bell rang. I got up and headed out, avoiding anyone who talked to me. I just wanted to head right to class. It was math class. I got so bored that I just fell asleep halfway through.

The bell rang, and everyone was leaving. I got up to leave, but I noticed Red was still sleeping. I walk over to her.
