Part 2 - First day of School

Chloe pov:

It's the next day, and I wake up early to get ready for school. I noticed Red still sleeping, so I figured I'd sneak in the shower before she does wake up. Felt nice to be alone from her. The hot water felt so comforting since nothing else could.... I lost my mom. She was my comfort place. She's the one I would usually run to whenever i was upset, and I lost her. I'm so sad and angry, and I feel so weak. I had to brush my feelings off before I went to school as I got out of the shower. Red was still in the room, fixing her hair in the mirror. She noticed me in the reflection and turned around.

Red: Are you serious trying to sneak out this room past me?

I froze in place, knowing I got caught.

Red: Don't do that, you look dumb, just walk like a normal person next time.

I just am my posture, making me stand properly

Chloe: So what now do I need to ask your permission for every single thing of my life now?

I then curtsy.

Chloe: Your royal highness, may I please eat breakfast now away from you?

I say in a mocking tone as she rolls her eyes, almost as if she's trying not to laugh.

Red: Yeah, whatever, princess, just go.

She then turns back to her mirror as I leave the room heading to the cafeteria. Once there, I found the buffet and got a mix of breakfast foods as I tried to find a spot to sit. I then found an empty table and sat down. I was near the entrance but it was the only empty table. I'm usually one to sit with a group to walk, eat, and giggle.... but I didn't want any of that today.... I just want to be left alone. As I'm eating my food in sadness, I then notice the room go quiet. I then look to see what happened. I see Princess Red walk in with her two guards. Everyone quickly stood up and bowed to her.

Everyone: Good morning, your royal highness.

They kept bowing, not moving. I then noticed Red looking right at me. She walked towards me as she stopped right in front of my table. She then gestured around the room, not saying a word as she raised an eyebrow. I then stood and bowed, letting out a grunt.

Red: You may all continue on with your day.

Red says before heading to the counter for food. The guards close to her at all times. She looked around the room to see a table made specially for her. It was at the back center of the room. I then noticed her walking to my table and sitting right in front of me. Everyone around me gasped as she sat down. She starts to eat, not saying a word to me.  Not long after, a taller red figure walks in with 4 guards behind her. Everyone immediately shot up and bowed even Red.  I was still sitting looking down at my plate before a whip, then smacks my table, making the sound echo in the room. I shot up, looking at Red, who looked back at me, gesturing the room again. I then bow.

QoH: That's more like it.....Red, why aren't you at your reserved table?

Red: I didn't want to sit there.

QoH: Too bad, it is now a requirement.

Red grunts at her mom.

Red: I am even allowed to sit with anyone, or am I just supposed to eat alone all year?

The Queen then took a few moments to think.

QoH: Fine, I'll let you have a limit of 5 people at your table, but break the rules, and that  number goes back down to 1. Go on, go sit at your table.

Red then grabs her tray and walks to her table, sitting down.

As the queen continues to walk in the cafeteria closer to the middle, he is still holding her whip.
