Part 27 - Audrey's Life

Red pov:

Came back to the living room as Chloe was talking with the girls and her suitcase already packed beside her.

Red: What have you guys been talking about?

Chloe: Oh, just about our visit here in Wonderland.

Chloe smiled.

Red: Hmm, there's definitely something you're not telling me.

Chloe: That's because it's not my place to tell you.

Red: Who's is it then?

I looked at the 4 who were sitting on the sofas.

Mal: me.

Mal then gets up and walks over to me. I didn't say anything. I was just waiting for her to speak.

Mal: I honestly feel so stupid for assuming you before even knowing one thing about you. I had no idea how bad your life was here. Can you forgive me for my mistakes?

Red: Yeah, but I'm still iffy when it comes to you. It's hard for me to trust anyone to be behind with, and as much as I can tell you, I mean well. I don't know for sure that you won't try something else.

Mal: I understand, I used to be the same.

Red: it's fine... It looks like everyone is ready to go back to Auradon. I got the limo ready outside.

We then all head in the back of the limo, I was sitting beside Chloe. Once the car started to move, I had a few things to say before we arrived in Auradon.

Red: ok, I got a few important things to say before I let you go. First thing, I order you to not say a word about what happened. The Dungeon, the cards, anything that you saw keep it to yourself. The second thing I wanted to say was that I appreciate you three willing to stay for the day. Last thing, I wanted to apologize to Mal for what happened to Ben. I didn't know who he was. I just remember him turning into a beast and attacking me before my mom sentenced him. Chloe told me he was the king. Chloe telling me who you guys were was the reason I decided to save you that night. But now I'm kinda stuck, as much as I want to let you go and do your thing. I know my mom will find and kill you on the spot. But if you're locked up in Wonderland, you still don't have much of a life. I just don't know what I can do anymore.

Mal: Life happens, but I do know that there's always a way to make things better.

Red: Not when it comes to my mom. There's no stopping that woman. Maybe one day we can maybe stop her but for now. There's nothing we can do.

Uma: we can always kill her. She can't hurt anyone if she's dead.

Red: What? No, I'm not letting you kill my mom.

Uma: She physically abused you your entire childhood, and you still want to protect her?

Red: Yes..... I mean, as much as we don't get along and we have different views and such, she's still the most important person in my life. She's the only thing I have, really.

We then spend the rest of the time silent waiting for us to get to Audrey's house. It was a cute cottage in the middle of the woods not far from school. We got out and knocked on the door.

Audrey: Oh hey guys, what are you guys here for?

Red: we came here to ask you if you'd be willing to help Chloe and me on a school project.

Audrey: Ah yes, Chloe called to ask me a few days ago. Come in, come in.

We then all go to the living room. Audrey offered us some snacks and sat down in front of me.
