Part 11 - New Order

Red pov:

I led Chloe outside as we walked to the garden. Once we got there, we were able to see a variety of flowers of all different shapes and colors. Chloe was heading towards the roses before I grabbed her arm, pulling her back.

Red: I've seen enough roses back in Wonderland.... why don't we sit over there away from those.

I then point to some different flowers.

Chloe: Wait, why don't you like roses? Don't they remind you of home?

Red: yep. Let's sit over there.

I then grab Chloe wrist again and bring her her to the yellow flowers. We then sit on the grass. The grass here is very soft.

Red: This place is very peaceful. It's feels.... nice.

I say as I run my hands through the grass.

I then got to thinking as I watched my hand touch the grass. I look up at Chloe, keeping my head still for a moment before sitting up.

Red: What was your mom like?

Chloe looks back at me.

Chloe: Well... she was always very kind, she was always there for me. She was always elegant and patient. She loved to hear me talk about my day or worries. She was the best.... she was the most loving person I ever knew.

Red: Wow.... that's like the complete opposite from mine.

I chuckled before my smile faded.

Chloe: Really?

Red: You've seen what's she's like.... But that only the side she's shown to Auradon.

Chloe: How was she like in Wonderland?

Red: You do not want to know.

We then heard the bell rang as first class ended. We then got up and headed back towards the school.

Red: What's our next class?

Chloe: math, I think.

Red: Ugh, I hate math....

Chloe: math is only really fun when you understand it. Otherwise, it can be very frustrating.... so I'm guessing you're not too good at it?

Red: Nope, I always struggled with it.

Chloe: Well, I love math. If you need any help, u can manage to try and show you some of my tricks that helped me out.

Red: Thanks for the offer, but I'll be fine.

We then see my mother by the entrance. I then stop Chloe.

Red: You should go in by another entrance.... I'll see you later.

I then walk to my mom as Chloe then goes in another direction.

QoH: I heard you skipped class.

Red: Yes. I woke up late but ordered the kitchen staff to make me my meal.

QoH: impressive, already starting to use your power..... but why was the young Charming with you, again?

Red: she also woke up late, so I figured I'd take the chance to have a little talk alone at my table. I wanted to set her straight and made sure she understood her place.

I lied to her face. The little talk alone was genuine, but the rest was just made up. The less she knows, the better.

QoH: Has she been troubling?

Red: Not as much no. I think she's finally starting to adapt.

QoH: Good. I expect you to attend class at the right time. You wanted to go here, and you are now, so you must attend all classes.
