Part 30 - Visiting the Isle

Today is the day we are going to the Isle of the Lost with my class. We got up, ate, and then got on a bus to head to the Isle of the lost. We already called Mal and Evie yesterday, but they would be going there in their car. We then drive over this really long bridge all the way to the Isle. The view was very nice seeing the water and all. Once we arrived, we got out of the bus as Uma is the one who would be the one to be our guide. Soon, Mal and Evie also showed up.

Uma: ok, kids, today we are here to explore the Isle of the Lost. Before we start, I have a few rules. 1. Stay with the group. 2. Try not to bother the people who live here. 3. Always ask before doing anything.

So we started walking around the many different parts of the town. We got to see the houses, the stores, and shops. We also got to see some before and after photos on the renovations they did. They did say that most of the people wanted to keep it the same, but Mal, Evie, and Uma all got the idea to improve the quality of life but still keep the same homey feeling it had. Mal joined in explaining her life and how rough it was considering everything is different here. Evie explains all the safety tips they had to follow to survive. Uma was explaining the many crimes committed on this island. Soon enough, we got to the downtown, aka the main area of the town where Uma gave us some boundaries and maps so the kids could have a chance to go in all the shops and all. Mal and Evie then walk to me and Chloe.

Mal: So what do you think of this place so far? Red.

Red: pretty cool. I like it. But it feels like you could easily get lost.

Mal: we grew up here, which is why we know where everything is. There were a few schools on this island we attended. It's not as Prestige as Auradon Prep, but it's what we had, and it worked ok for us.

After chatting for a bit and going to all the shops and buying souvenirs. We regrouped again.

Mal: ok, now that's its the afternoon. It's time for some fun.

The class gets all happy.

Mal: we got 2 places to go to. Follow us, and let's go.

We then walk to a back alley type of road thing and then enter a basement door. Once all is inside, we were met with a shooting range or something.

Evie: You will be in pears of 2 sharing a lane. We have archery, knife throwing, and darts. Please stay safe at all times. I don't want anyone getting hurt.

Once in pears, I took the knifes as Chloe took the darts. We took turns to throw. I then got the best idea. I smirked before turning to Chloe.

Red: Hey Chloe?.....

Chloe: What?

Red: Do you trust me?

Chloe: Yeah, why? Once I realized you were an actual good person. I'm no longer afraid of you.... not as much, at least.

Red: I got another test for you to pass.

Chloe's eyes got wide as she got a little nervous.

Red: You said you'd be happy to pass my next test, remember.

I say as I circle around her with my knife in my hands, teasing g her with it. She kept her chin up, not showing any fear.

Chloe: What's the test?

Red: I want you to be against that wall as I throw 3 knives, I've been throwing knives since I was a little girl, and my aim is pretty sharp..... I wanna see if you truly trust me like you say you do.

Chloe, let's out an exhale.

Mal, Evie, and Uma then walk to us.

Uma: What are you doing? Red.
