Part 25 - Meet Princess Red

Red pov:

I can't believe Mal, Evie, and Uma all came here to try and sneak Chloe away and keep me locked in Wonderland. I was so angry when I saw then trying to sneak in the castle while I was out. I remember going to Chloe's room and listening through the open window. I was completely expecting her to jump up, pack, and leave me..... but Chloe didn't do that. She stood her ground and defended me. She used words no one has ever used to describe me, and it made me feel something. I just knew I had to climb in and talk to her, make sure what she said was true. It was, and I was also able to confront and talk to her 3 women who snuck in.  After having a little chat, I offered them to stay and get to know me. They agreed to stay for the day. It was still the middle of the night.

Red: If you ladies want to follow me, I can show you to your rooms.

I then walked out the door as the 3 women followed me. I brought them each to their own rooms. Once they all went to their rooms, I swept back to Chloe's room. I knock.

Chloe: Come in!

I open the door.

Chloe: Oh hey Red, was there something you wanted to tell me before you went back to bed?

I walked in and sat on her bed. I turn to face her.

Red: I wanted to say thank you for everything today. I was really scared you would just up and leave me here..... and I wanted to thank you for that hug. It truly helped me calm down.

Chloe: That's no problem..... but why we're you outside in the middle of the night?

My eyes grew wide.

Red: .... that's not important right now. Maybe I'll tell you one day. We should go to sleep now, ok?

Chloe: ok... good night, Red.

I got up and walked to the door.

Red: Good night, Chloe.

I then headed to bed and instantly fell asleep. After what felt like 7 hours of sleep, I woke up to the sun beaming down right on my face. No snoozing today, I got up, showered, and headed to Chloes' room. Chloe opened the door right as I was about to knock.

Chloe: Oh, sorry, I didn't k ow you were about to knock.

Chloe giggled as she noticed me knocking a non-existent door. We then got the others and headed down to the kitchen to eat. I was sitting beside Chloe as the 3 women sat in front of us.

Chloe: So how did you guys sleep.

Uma: pretty god, actually.

Evie: I lived the heart-shaped beds, lots of room to sprawl.

Mal: So, your royal highness, what do you have planned for today?

Red: Just call me Red.

I took a bite before speaking again.

Red: Well, I have to attend court, then I'll want to go see Maddox. And then have the afternoon off to do something fun. 

After breakfast, they all followed me to the courtyard.

Red: ok, let's get this over with.

The guard brings me a range of tazers to use today.

Red: Oh!....hmm.... Chloe, can you come here for a moment.

Mal, the others watched as Chloe came to me.

Red: Would you be willing to test which tazers hurt the least?

Uma: Why don't you just test it on yourself.

Uma said as she walked closer with her arms crossed. I then roll my eyes before turning it on and zapping myself to no avail. The look on those women's faces was full of concern and shock.
