"BELOVED BY THE TWINS"

(A little earlier before shin caught them)
As the twins returned to their room, they decided they wouldn’t be joining Shin tonight. They both had too much on their minds, too many emotions that needed sorting through.
Luca lay back on the bed, glancing over at Ruka, who seemed lost in thought, his face lined with an intensity that was hard to ignore. Breaking the silence, Luca asked softly, “Are you okay?”
Ruka’s gaze shifted, offering a faint smile. “Yeah, I’m fine,” he replied, though Luca could tell he was holding something back.
“Really?” Luca ask, his eyes searching Ruka’s face for an honest answer.
Ruka sighed, then nodded. “Yes, I’m really okay. But... don’t you think it’s time we tell Shin about us?” The question lingered in the air.
Luca hesitated, his heart beating a little faster at the thought. After a pause, he murmured, “...Let’s tell him... tomorrow.” He still felt anxious, unsure how Shin might react.
Ruka seemed reassured, reaching out to give Luca’s hand a comforting squeeze. “Everything’s going to be okay. Let’s just trust Shin,” he said softly.
A silence fell between them, the weight of the day settling over them. Luca let out a sigh. “A lot happened today, and I don’t even know how to feel about it.”
“Me too...” Ruka murmured, then paused, as if unsure whether to share his next thought. After a moment, he continued, a small smile playing on his lips, “But... um...”
Luca noticed the slight blush on Ruka’s cheeks. “What?” he asked.
“You looked so hot earlier when you were angry,” Ruka admitted, a hint of mischief in his eyes. “I even thought that—”
Luca cut him off with a smirk. “Wait, let me guess. You thought that if we weren’t in the hospital, we’d be... well, you know,” he teased.
Ruka chuckled, feeling a bit embarrassed but nodding. “Yeah.”
Luca’s grin grew wider. “Funny, I was thinking the same thing when I kissed you earlier.”
Ruka’s expression softened. “I’m glad you’re here, because if not... I’m afraid I wouldn’t be able to hold back and might do something... like... forcing myself to Shin.”
Luca let out a low laugh. “Me too. I know I said that it’s okay if he takes his time but every time I see him, I just... want to pin him down in the bed and make a mess out of him.”
Ruka raised an eyebrow, giving Luca a knowing look. “You think I didn’t notice? I caught you once in the bathroom... relieving yourself with a photo of Shin.”
Luca’s cheeks reddened slightly but he couldn’t help but laugh. “So?, speaking of that...do you... wanna... do it tonight?”
Ruka shook his head, sighing. “No, I’m exhausted. I need a shower and then sleep.”
Luca nodded, a hint of disappointment in his eyes, but he quickly covered it with a grin. “Then let’s shower together.”
Ruka rolled his eyes but smiled, unable to resist. “Fine."

LUCA'S POV
"Hey, Ruka, are you really sleeping?" I whispered, my voice barely audible over the pounding of my own heart. My fingers itched to touch him, to fuck him, and make a mess out of him. I know he's probably tired about everything that has happened but how can he just fall asleep like this.
