air was brisk with the scent of fall as Kiyotaka and Suzune walked their children to ANHS. The campus was alive with the buzz of students, but a looming sense of change hung over it. Kiyotaka's old acquaintance, Arisu Sakayanagi, had recently become the headteacher. Her first major policy? A mandatory two-week break for all students every three months.

As they approached the school gates, Arisu herself greeted them, her smile as sharp as ever. "Ayanokoji," she said, nodding to Kiyotaka. "It's good to see you here. I hope you'll find my changes to the system refreshing."

Suzune raised a skeptical eyebrow. "We'll see how it plays out," she replied, her tone polite but guarded.

After dropping off Kiyo and Suz, the couple returned home. It was later that evening when Kiyotaka's phone buzzed with a familiar, chilling number—his father's.

Kiyotaka answered, his voice devoid of emotion. "What is it now?"

"I have news," his father said, his tone as calm and calculated as always. "The White Room was never shut down. I've been continuing my experiments, refining them. I thought it was time you knew."

Kiyotaka's expression didn't change, but Suzune, overhearing, placed a hand on his arm. "What are you talking about?" Kiyotaka asked.

"Do you remember Ichika Amasawa and Takuya Yagami?" his father continued. "Both were exceptional—among the best in their generation. They died fourteen years ago, but their potential was too great to waste. So, I remade them."

Suzune's gasp was audible. "Remade them?" she whispered.

"Using advanced cellular engineering," his father explained, as though discussing the weather. "Their appearances, IQs, even their personalities have been replicated to near perfection. They will soon enroll at ANHS."

Kiyotaka's grip tightened on the phone. "Why?" he demanded.

"Because challenges sharpen blades," his father replied. "And because your children need peers who can push them to their limits—or surpass them. But there's more."

Kiyotaka's voice dropped. "What is it?"

"Ichika's DNA was used in the creation of your children."

Suzune's eyes widened. "What?"

"Gojo is 0.3% related to her. Saya, 0.7%. Aiko? 49%." His father's tone was clinical. "But don't worry—the majority of their genetic makeup comes from you."

Part 2: The Sinister Revelation

Later that night, Kiyotaka confronted his father in a private meeting. The room was sterile, cold—a reflection of the man who had shaped his life.

"Why did you do this?" Kiyotaka asked, his tone deadly calm.

"Because perfection requires sacrifices," his father replied. "Fourteen years ago, when I learned Suzune was pregnant, I knew your children would need challenges—not just obstacles, but people they could admire, even love."

Kiyotaka's gaze was unflinching. "You made Ichika and Takuya just to be pawns for my children?"

"Takuya will only marry someone he sees as his equal," his father continued, ignoring the question. "Ichika, however, is different. Before her death, she loved you. She saw you as the perfect human being."

Kiyotaka's breath hitched. He rarely reacted, but this revelation shook him. "What?"

"She admired you. Not just your strength, but your mind, your resolve. While others hated you for your superiority, she adored you. When she found out about Aiko's existence, she was overjoyed."

Kiyotaka's voice was a low growl. "And what happened to her?"

"She wasn't allowed to bond with Aiko while awake, to ensure equal development. But at night, she would sneak into Aiko's room and hold her like a mother would. That stopped when Aiko turned three. After that, Ichika spiraled. She died during training—a failure caused by heartbreak."

Kiyotaka's hands clenched into fists. "And you brought her back?"

His father's smile was faint but cruel. "Her admiration has been redirected. This time, she idolizes Kiyo."

Part 3: A Mother's Grief Reborn

In the White Room, Ichika lay on a sterile bed, staring at the ceiling. The room was silent, save for the hum of machinery.

"One more year," she whispered to herself. "One more year until I can see you, Kiyo."

She closed her eyes, a single tear slipping down her cheek. Memories—or what felt like memories—flooded her mind. Holding a baby, feeling warmth, then losing it all. She clenched her fists, vowing to never let that pain consume her again.

Part 4: A Quiet Resolve

Back at home, Suzune sat beside Kiyotaka, her hand on his. "What are we going to do?"

"We'll face it together," he said simply. "Like we always do."

Suzune nodded, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. "I'm scared, Kiyotaka. For Kiyo, for Suz, for all of them."

He pulled her into his arms, resting his chin on her head. "He said that they won't harm them so we have no other option but to trust him but kiyo and suz are strong so they will be fine."

As they sat in the quiet of their home, a storm brewed on the horizon. The past had returned, bringing with it challenges that would test not only Kiyotaka but the family he had built. Yet, in that moment, they were together—and for now, that was enough.
