With flying colours

Well thats a big turn.

Max decided to help me record my songs in a studio when we get home, I'm so happy I have him to support me.
It takes about a month to record them perfectly with the help of some people.
Nobody has heard any of the songs and the previews are releasing tonight.
The only person who has heard them is max, nobody else. Not even Lando.

We get home after another long day of recording, it takes even longer because of the races so we have to take some weekends off from recording which is a nice little break for my voice.
We get home and I decide to release part of each song.
I go to sleep and wake up with loads of comments and people reposting my videos and likes. Everyone asking when it's getting released.
Someone commented that their my number one fan and max rushed to Tik tok to reply back that they are wrong and actually he is my number one fan and they were arguing in my comments over me.

Then I get a text from Lando.

- baby, these are so good. Why didn't you tell me you were making songs (lando)
-I wanted it to be a surprise :) (y/n)
-well I just want to let you know, they are amazing and you are so talented. Everyone will love you (Lando)
-I love you babe (y/n)
-I love you more darling (Lando)

A couple minutes later there's a knock at the front door. I answer it and it's Lando and his dad.
"GUESS WHAT" Lando says nearly screeching
"What?" I reply back a bit concerned not knowing if I should be happy or sad
"IM COMING TO THE NEXT RACE, IM RACING AND I AM GOING TO WIN FOR YOU" he replies back, I didn't want to burst his bubble of happiness because I already knew he was coming since it is a race with F2. So I acted like I didn't know
"REALLY? YAYYYYY" I reply back trying not to show that I already knew.

Me and Lando go up to my room and put a movie on with snacks and cuddle up together.
I can smell his cologne. It drives me crazy. I look up at him and get level with his neck and bury my face into it and just keep sniffing his neck which makes him laugh because he has no clue why.
"Hey, hey, hey. What you doing?" He says with a slight laugh.
"Smelling you, you smell really good" I say as I carry in smelling him
"Well you smell good too" he says as he pushes me away and starts sniffing me back which causes me to laugh because I'm really ticklish.

Then there's a sudden knock at the door.
"I'll be right back baby" I say as I get up to go answer it.

"I see you making songs about me now?" I hear as I open the door to Hayden.
"There not about you actually. Their about the people I love, people who have died, my traumas as a child. Just my experiences. Not you." I say back frustrated that he's even here.

Did it just to hurt me, make me cry' aren't about me? You tell yourself that, I know you still love me" he says laughing.
"Actually that's about Jad. My ex. But that entire song is about my life" I reply back getting mad
"Babe who is it? How long are you going to be" I hear coming from up the stairs.
"It's her boyfriend, Hayden." He shouts back.
"What." I hear Lando scream and run down the stairs.
"Who the fuck Are you" Lando says as he walks up to Hayden slowly like threatening sort of slow.
"Well I came here to apologise after something and she didn't forgive me, then she wrote a song about me so I came to ask her about it and she's denying it" he says slowly stepping back away from Lando who now has his fists curled into a ball prepared to hit him.
"If she said it's not about you then how about you leave, I'm her boyfriend. I have been for quite a while now. And trust me if you don't leave, bad things will happen to you" he says through his teeth causing Hayden to run away.

"Thank you baby" I say as I close the door and go to hug him
"Is he really your boyfriend." He says pushing me away, stopping me from hugging him.
"No, he's my ex who for some reason keeps coming here to try and talk to me" I say with tears forming in my eyes. He thinks I'm cheating on him and he won't let me touch him.
"He keeps coming? How many times?" He says slowly getting closer to me. Suddenly no words will come out. He towering above me and is angry. I feel like he's going to hit me.
"HOW MANY TIMES" he shouts and I just run away.
A couple seconds later max walks back into the house with landos dad back from getting groceries.
"What's all the commotion about" max says but suddenly seeing me in tears running away.
"If I find out you hurt her your dead." He says as he runs after me.

"Y/n darling, come here. Your okay, what happened" he says softly. I put my head on his chest to steady my breathing and match it to his.
"He shouted at me and was getting closer to me but he was hovering above me and pushed me away when I went to hug him. He thinks I'm cheating on him with Hayden too" I say in between my breaths.
"He pushed you." Max says trying no to show his anger but it slightly showed because of how he said it.
"Yeah, he was really angry because Hayden showed up saying I made a song about him when I didn't then kept saying that I still live him then told Lando he was my boyfriend and Lando got mad when I told him he keeps coming and I couldn't answer how many times he's came once Hayden left" I say with tears still coming out my eyes like a river nonstop and my breathing not getting any more steady.
"He threatened Hayden then I closed the door to hug him to say thank you for getting rid of him then he started shouting at me asking how many times has he been here but he pushed me away as I went for a hug then started scaring me and moving closer to me and I thought he was going to hit me so I ran away and then you came though the door" I say a bit more call trying to explain it properly.

"Now that kid is for sure dead." He says really angrily and gets up Storming down the stairs shouting at Lando for making me cry and feel like that.

I curl up into a ball on my bed and just cry to myself. I feel like Lando doesn't actually love me like he said a few minutes ago. I feel like he hates me.
About 5 minutes later I hear someone coming up the stairs and into my room
"Babe." He says
I move back a Little Bit, still scared he will hit me. He doesn't understand how traumatised I am from angry men.
"I'm so sorry" he says touching my shoulder to let me know he won't hurt me but it makes me flinch a little and then get a bit calmer and sit up and just look at him with big red puffy eyes and I just hug him and bury my head into his chest. After about 5 mins of the hug I'm asleep with Lando under me stroking my hair.

He kisses my forehead "why don't you tell me about your past and what happens?" he says but I don't hear him since I'm asleep.
He feels really bad because max just told him about my past. It made him feel like he knows nothing about me since he doesn't really know about my past before I moved in with max.
"I really do love you, I'm sorry" he says placing one last kiss on my head and just cuddling me even more eventually falling asleep.
