"Can I talk to you Eva ?" my dad says , I haven't even notice that he came into the room .
"Yeah papa sure " I say zipping the suitcase and sitting on the edge of the bed , he sits right next to me .
"I believe there's no reason for this trip , I just need some rest " he begins and I roll my eyes "papa , you said that month and half ago ..you're getting worse and that doctor sounds like a taxi driver ! he knows nothing ..whenever I ask him anything he answers me that you're strong and healthy "
"Maybe that's the truth .why don't you wanna believe it ?" he asks, I shake my head and stand up "because I have eyes !...this trip is happening papa ..please " I say and he sighs .
"Fine ," he eyes me carefully , then smiles saying " you look different " out of no where .
I smile "good different or bad different ?" still smiling he motions for me to sit down again and I do .
"both , you look happy but tired " he says and I nod "well tired because of the company " I say , "and happy because ?" he lifts his eyebrows
I smile shyly "I have a boyfriend " . He smiles widely "yeah about that .. this thing with Lucas is serious ?" he asks
"I think " I say quietly ..I don't want him to hope
"I'm so happy that you're in love again ..I thought ..I .." I cut him off " well I am ..and I'm so happy , but you sir have to go to sleep . we have a flight in the early morning " I say and he nods formally .
"Yes miss Leonard " he says and I giggle , he kisses my forehead and heads to his room .
I pull the suitcase off the bed and lay down . thinking about only one thing ..his touch .

When I get home I immediately know that Bonnie is there , the cookies smell is filling the house . I smile as it hits me .
She's singing from the kitchen " well well ..making cookies , singing ! someone is in a good mood " I say as I step in the kitchen and she chuckles .
"I am in a good mood and Gio wanted some cookies " she hugs me then continues "how was your day ?" she asks . the best day ever .
"Great" I say keeping my thoughts about Eva to myself "go change your clothes and the dinner will be ready " she says and I kiss her hand "thank you" I say and walk to take a shower and change my clothes .
When I come back , my aunt , Gio and Bonnie are sitting on the table
Bonnie is placing dishes with the phone between her cheek and shoulder "yes ! that would be great ! we haven't got time to choose a place anyway ..that would be fantastic ..thank you Eva " she says and I frown ..Eva ?
She hangs up and clap her hands making me smile
"what is it ?" my aunt asks Bonnie smiling as well ..that's the effect Bonnie causes .
"Eva , Lucas' girlfriend and business partner has offered to sponsor the ball too ! it will have our name but in partnership with the Leonards ..that means she will cover so much of the ball cost " she says excited ..why hasn't Eva told me ?
She doesn't really get the idea of partnership quiet yet ..but Bonnie is happy so I'll just bite my tongue .
"That's perfect " I say taking my phone out of my pocket "hey , no phone while eating " my aunt says making me roll my eyes .
"Lora ..I need to text my girlfriend " I say acting serious but failing not to smile , and she holds her hand up in defense "oh sorry sir ..that lucky bitch can't wait ha ? " she says making me burst out in laughter ..my aunt is very young and she's just like our best friend .
