Chapter 9

Eva~

 I lay for some minutes on the bed with the phone still in my hand , i need to call Lisa . i press her number and after a beat she answers.

 "Eva ! i was just about to call you " she says loudly through the phone.

 "Yeah ? why " i say.

 "To ask you what to wear tomorrow duh ." she says in a matter of fact tune .

 "Send me pictures of your options and i'll help you decide ..i already made up my mind " i say .

 "You did ? luckyyy ..i've been trying to decide since i came back home ...oh right silly me ..why did you call firstly ? " she asks .

 "Oh uh yeah ..why didn't you wanna tell me about the party? ..you only told me because you had to " i say and she stays silent for a moment.

 "No ! i was going to tell you ..i was only surprised because you were still with him in the office although the meeting was over " she says fast and i sigh .

 "You okay though ?" she asks me .

 "No , today Ben had some problems with the car so Lucas drove me home " i say fully knowing that she'll freak out .

 "And how does that make you not okay ?? that's amazing omg i'm so jealous right now! " she says and i smile a little .

 "This is not the worst part ..he actually came inside our house and sat with my father and then he pissed me off " i say and i swear i can hear her smirk .

"Oh Eva what did you say ? " she asks mockingly .

 "I might have told him that he's an asshole" and just as i finished the sentence she laughed .

"Oh my you told Lucas Patterson that he's an asshole !!! what happened after that!" she says cracking up and  hungry for details .

 "He got pissed off and left ..then i called and apologized " i say lowering my voice at the last part .

"You what ? " she asks shocked .

 "Apologized ...god i'm so annoyed ..i bet you now he thinks that he owns me " i say and she chuckles .

"Hey do you need cheering up ?" she asks and i nod fast even though i know she can't see me.

 "Yes please ..come here so i can talk shit about Lucas all day with you " i say and laugh a little .

"This is really tempting to refuse ..open the door i'm on my way " she says hanging up and i do the same ..she never fails to make me smile .

 I go down asking Margret to prepare the dinner and i grab some snacks for myself and Lisa .

After like 30 minutes i hear knocking on the door and i open it to see Lisa in sweat pants and plain shirt looking flawless ...only she can look pretty in these clothes .

 " Heyyy , i brought my dresses with me so we can decide which one to wear tomorrow ..and i got some snacks ..and hey ..i got a surprise " she says grinning from ear to ear .

 "Surprise other than the dress and the snacks ?? what is it ?" i ask mirroring her grin .

And out of nowhere Max comes out "Hello Evangeline ..miss me ?? " he's grinning ..why are we all grinning .

"Max!! yesss i'm so happy you're here ..now i'm really in a better mood " , i say and Lisa flips her hair ,"You're welcome" she says and i laugh as we all get into the house .

 "Okay ..tell me what did Lucas do when he was here " Lisa says and Max looks at me.

"Lucas was here ?? " he's frowning ..god damn it .
