We get out of the company "there's no reason for you to go home ..let us go together , pick up Bonnie and go out " he says and I whine " but i'm in my work clothes " he takes his car keys from his pocket "you're beautiful anyway Evangeline , come on " he says walking to the car but I froze in my place .
He said his words so casually but he didn't realize how nice those words are . I feel a huge warm wave hitting me and I smile only to wake up when his hand is on my arm "Eva ? are you okay ?" he asks and I nod then shake my head to get my shit together which is the hardest thing to do when i'm around him .
He opens the door for me and I get in then I text Ben telling him that there's no need for him to come "do you have CDs ?" I ask him and he nods pointing to their place with his chin , I search through them and find Beyonce's album , i hold it up to him and raise an eyebrow he looks at me and snort "it's Bonnie's I swear" I laugh and play it . I go through the songs until Drunk in love comes

I look over at her singing along the songs and most of the lyrics are wrong , I can't help but laugh ..she's really into this .
"What you don't like my voice ? lets hear yours then" she says acting like she got offended . "No I don't sing" I say chucking and shake my head .
"Oh come on ! " she says swatting my shoulder and I shrug "you sing and i'll listen " I say and she grins "such a fun killer " and with that she gets back to her Beyonce mood . Her mood seems better than it as this morning , fine by me .
We arrive and I pull over "that was the best concert I've ever been to " I say and she snorts
"Oh stop it , you're so cute it makes me wanna throw up " she says and I laugh getting out of the car and open the door for her " you're boring " she says and I smile .
"I know that " I say and she smiles " but I like that , because I can be the center of attention ..and I can be in lead the whole time " she says and I raise an eyebrow , what is she talking about ? .
"Someone likes control a little too much " I say and watch her smile fades immediately ..oh no ..have I said something wrong ? she shakes her head and walk away ..god ..I have to keep up with her mood swings , Jesus .
I reach for her "hey , i'm sorry if what I said annoyed you ..I was just kidding " I say and she looks in my eyes but I don't see any anger ..I see ..lust? i'm so confused .
"No it's ..your words reminded me of something that I really don't wanna remember now " she says and blushes ..what ?
"so we're okay ?" I say and she grins "yes ..lets go now " she says then we finally reach the door , she's a psychotic .
I get my keys out to open the door and the first thing I see is my mother standing in front of Bonnie who is sitting on the couch and my heart leaps into my mouth ..it's like the world stops , no ..did she hurt her ? I feel Eva's eyes on me but right now I feel weak ..until I catch Bonnie's eyes and she smiles , I let out a sigh .
She quickly comes to me and hugs me "Luke ! you're early " she says and I hug her tight then pull away to look closely at her ...she's fine , thank heavens .
"Eva ! what a wonderful surprise " Bonnie says cheerfully hugging Eva and she hugs her back with a warm smile on her face .
"Lucas " my mother says while keeping her eyes on Eva .
"Mother " I say and I hug her .
"did she call you for rescue?" my mother asks mockingly meaning Bonnie , Bonnie just shrugs uncomfortably .
