Eva ~

I stare down at my hands while waiting for the contract . I said so many horrible things to Lucas and he didn't hesitate throwing shit back in my face , it hurt of course but I hope I said enough . 

It's not his fault to be honest , I'm the one who got carried away by this act that all I can think about is him , I even started to forget we were doing this for Bonnie . but then the phone call fucked my day entirely . I hate Vance's company more than any compotators . he's such a mean asshole who stole every single project we had until dad had put a stop to it , and if we didn't meet in Korea ,he wouldn't come back to steal again . I see red when it comes to him and I'm ready to lose anything just to beat that bastard down and I will , I will beat the shit out of him , not literally of course .

Lisa has brought the files in an hour as she promised and I spent hours in the office studying it and going throughout the rules and offers they have between each other , not that I don't know some of them but there are others that Vance has offered , I had a copy of this project when they first offered it but here in the new one there are a lot of changes .

And by 10 p.m I have everything planned out , I called the Greys  to make an appointment with them and I will snatch everything back to me by tomorrow afternoon .

When I get home , my father is asleep and the house is quiet . empty . I walk lazily to my room and drop my heavy limped body on the bed . inexperienced little girl . why Lucas why do you have to throw this in my face when you know it's the most hurtful thing to me . you threw shit in his face too , my subconscious reminds me and I groan . it's not the time to be weak or emotional . I need to focus on work and when I finish I will concentrate on the other things . I will never ever put myself in this situation again , such a failure and huge humiliation .

The next day I walk into the meeting room , Lisa is walking with me and she's quiet most of the time . I take a deep breath and walk to my seat .

"Miss Leonard" Mr.Grey says shaking my hand "Mr.Grey" I say smiling seductively "it's pleasure to see you " I say and he smirks , I think he's getting my vibes "the pleasure is mine " .

"Hopefully" I say and he lets out a small laugh that I mirror .

"You're not like how I imagined , I have worked with your father before but never with you directly " he says and I raise an eyebrow "why how did you imagine me ?" I ask dreamily .

"A little bit hard to work with" he says really quietly trying to sound hot , not that he's not hot but I'm really focused on my act right now "Trust me , I'm really easy to work with" I lean close to him and he looks at my lips , okay ..now I got him "Though I'm really really sad" .

"And why is that ? " he shifts in his seat .

"You know why " I pout a little .

"You know our business is all about luck , ups and downs " he looks down rolling the pen in his hand then continues"it's okay to loose sometimes" .

"Not to me , it's not" I say feeling the anger raising , but I need to keep calm "why did you give it to Vance ?" .

"When you didn't reply we thought you cancelled the offer , and he immediately offered to take it " he says and I cock my head to the side .

"So , it wasn't that he offered you a larger percentage ?" I ask and he smiles .

"That played a huge role in our acceptance but the main reason why we gave them was that you already cancelled it ...wait..how did you know he offered us a larger percentage ?" he asked and I laugh .
