THE KEY TO MY HEART

While Julia and I were eating our stir fry dinner that I made us, people were coming by with cash or checks for Jaime's graduation and signing her card. I ended up reheating our dinner. There were that many disruptions. People stopped coming by once eight thirty arrived. We didn't finish eating and cleaning the kitchen until after nine thirty or so. I counted all the checks and money so far I collected.  It came to be $32,567.00 dollars. Alexa texted me the information without Jaime's knowing because Jaime was dealing with a tiger at a zoo. I knew veterinarian saw all sorts of animals but a tiger. Alexa called me to tell me the tiger got into a fight with another tiger and it required surgery. I thanked her for the information and asked her if she knew the total amounts for each lender. She told me to hold on and I did. She returns and gives me the amounts. I thanked her before we ended the call.

" Julia medical school sure has gone up over the years. We are definitely going to need more people and monies to help pay off her school loans."  "Cindy even if you don't receive enough. It's a good amount.  It would take her longer, plus Alexa and both of their parents haven't written checks yet but plan to do.  Her parents are happy we  came up with idea. Let's go watch a few movies before it gets much later."  " Julia the time doesn't matter we are retired now."  "True, but being business owners, we still have to make sure everything is going
at least."

Once again, my wife was correct. We popped some popcorn and had our two sodas in the recliners drink holders.  We decided the first movie to be a comedy and the second a DC movie. We finished both movies and stayed in the recliners talking.  We must of had fallen asleep. We were woken up with one of the Merry Maids using the cobwebs brush to clean the ceiling but running into the metal trash can.
She noticed we both woke up. She immediately apologized and finished with the duster.  We got up and threw the empty bag of popcorn in the trash and made our way to the kitchen to toss the soda cans in the recycle bin in our kitchen. We made two omelets with wheat toast.  Julia had a glass of milk and I had a cappuccino. We cleaned the kitchen up and headed to our bedroom which was already cleaned as well as our ensuite per one of the employees exited our bedroom.  I locked our bedroom door. We removed our tennis shoes and picked out jeans, underwear, and a long uv sleeve shirt to go horseback riding.
We took a quick shower and decided not to wear any makeups.  We got dressed and put on deodorant,  brushed our teeth, used the restroom than washed and dried our hands. We exited the bathroom and placed all of our dirty items in the laundry room to be washed.  We put on our tennis shoes and added our guns to our clothes. We grabbed put keys and cell phones and placed them in our sling bags which we had over our neck and arms. We went downstairs to get two bottles water. We removed our sunglasses from the sling bag and walked to the hallway to choose two baseball hats to wear. We left in the golf cart closet to the back door and Julia drove us to the barn. Jake welcomes us along with Jaime. They said good morning and we did the same. Jake said to Cindy and I when Jaime left to go check on the new kids that he left checks and signed the card. He mentioned he signed everyone's names
and everyone was excited about her graduating next week. We knew the feeling. He told us Alexa ordered her a black Porsche for her graduation present and was hoping we could park it in our garage with our holiday decorations.  We both said yes and he said he would tell Alexa to have them deliver it to our home when Jaime was at the clinic that they now both owned together.  She was still making payments until her share of the business was paid off. We left to go riding.  We wanted to make sure their was extra electricity being installed for their wedding.  We already had got input on how they wanted it to be by the lake. We finally arrived and the head electrician said they would be done by noon. He handed Cindy the bill. She told him once it was signed off by the inspector, she would mail out a check to the owner of the company. We started riding again. We rode our entire property and returned.  We got off our horses and took them to their stalls to drink water. The horses food was present as well. We removed the saddles and other items and hung them up. We choose different horses when we ride. We brushed them and gave them an apple each before we left. Julia drove us back home. Our cleaning service was still present.  One of the employees told us people came by and left envelopes and signed the card. Jaime had come by and they hid the card in the pantry. Jaime had brought  buy some fruit and nuts she had bought for us from the farmer's market that we asked her to get for us. The employee said, once she left,  she removed the card so others who came could sign it. We thanked her for hiding the card. She left and Cindy and I opened all the cards while we drank our waters.   We were surprised to see how many people came by when we were gone and asleep. We only needed 23,000. 68 more and her loans would be paid off in full. We sure we would get that amount. Cindy and I took all the checks and the monies to two different lenders to reduce her payments. We left and called Alexa.  Alexa answered her work office phone
Cindy tells her how much is left for her loans to be paid off. She said she had it the rest plus more from their parents  hers and some employees from the accounting firm. She said the cash she would give to her do she could spend how she wanted. We immediately got on our cells once Cindy ended her telephone call telling me her conversation.  We told everyone we surpassed the goal. Any other monies especially in a check to please write them to her. People responded to us cash so she wouldn't have to pay taxes. We were now home. The cleaning employees were gone.  We locked our door and turned the alarm on. There was lots of cash on the kitchen table and more people had come by to sign the card.   Cindy places the money inside a manilla envelope with Jaime's name and places it in our office safe.  We decided to go skinny dipping and get a workout.  We knew we would need to exercise more. We finally were taking a shower. We we were done and just wore a sports bra and panties that matched.  We decided to take a nap.
