THE KEY TO MY HEART

We woke up and took a shower. Julia ordered food for Cindy and told her. She was awake in bed  per Julia. We left to go check on the others.  Liz said they all ate dinner and only needed sleep. She told us Cindy scolded them both and they felt like they were kids again bring scolded by her. We told her tomorrow we were going to Modesto to have lunch with Nichole and she could come with us. Cindy was staying back to rest. She told us to enjoy our dinner and other meals.  Julia told her we all would be leaving after tomorrow and to be downstairs by 9 so we all could eat breakfast before we left for the airport.  We said goodbye and lput. We went upstairs to get our toiletries and a change of clothes.  Julia returns and tells me that was sleeping.  She left her a note stating aftee dinner we would be driving to Modesto  and stay their for the night. We left the hotel andcJulia drove us to a nice restaurant where we didn't have to dress up.  She drove us.  She was feeling a little better while we were out. We finished our food and left a tip. We used the restroom because we would have close to a an hour an half drive.  Julia made reservations at the Holiday Inn. We got into the suv. While she drove,  I called my wife to see how she and the others were doing. I told her I would be home in two days. She told me to stay with the Ruiz. She was still sick and didn't want me to catch it. She said the neighbors have been leaving food for them and riding the horses. The neighbors were taking care of the horses and goats. Jake called one of his colleague to check on all the animals especially the newbies. We said we loved one another before I ended my call. I updated Julia. Julia asked me to send thank you gifts of my choosing to our neighbors which I did.  We got stuck in traffic. We finally got to the hotel and checked in. We got two room keys and found our room upstairs.  We unpacked and left to go see a movie at the drive in Ceres. Neither of us had been to a drive in awhile.  We cuddled up leaving the motors running with the heater on. We had a blanket and we got in the back seat after placing them face down. We used our coats as pillows.  We had the speaker in the driver side with the window up with our scarves covering the crack to keep as much cold out. Julia had the defroster on. We watched the two movies through the rear window. We left after the movie was over with and drove thru a Starbucks to order two hot chocolates. I paid for the movie and the hot chocolate. It took us about twenty minutes before we were back in our room. Julia used her door jam and close and locked the door. We finished our hot chocolate and tossed them in the trash. We had a queen bed. Julia took her medicine  and vitamins with colloidal silver and  I did the same. We got undressed and got into bed.  We made love with the TV on. We got up to use the restroom only and got back into bed and made more love before we fell asleep.   The following morning,  we woke up after ten. We got up to use the restroom and took a shower.  We got ready and left. Julia paid cash for the room. We left the keys to the hotel person and left.  We placed everything in the SUV. We got in and Julia drove us to BJ's where she and Nichole would eat at times.  She parked and we got out. It was still a little foggy.  She locks the SUV and we go inside. She asks the lady if her party is here.  She says yes and tells us where in the restaurant. We male our way to the location.  Nicole has ordered coffee for me and her and her tia a hot chocolate.  We hug her and sit down after we take off our coats, beanies, gloves and scarves. We place them on the side Nichole is sitting.  We review the menu and order our lunch when the waitress comes.  Julia tells the waitress to give her the bill. The lady says she will and leaves.

" It's good seeing you two. Where are your wives?" " Mine is home sick." "Mine,  I  think is coming down with a cold after she was done with her hangover.   We stayed at the holiday Inn last night so we wouldn't have to wake up earlier to drive here.   How are you doing mija?" 
" Tia, I am still struggling like we spoke the other week. It's not easy, but I  am not giving up. I am driving a little more and getting out at least."
"Lil shit don't give up and continue taking your meds, talk with your therapist and psychiatrist and make sure you eat and absolutely no alcohol. " " Tia, I miss you calling me a little shit.  I ordered your Christmas gift.Thank you for my adidas shoes.  See I am wearing them."

We both look under the table and smile. Our food arrives.  We take sips of our hot beverages and begin eating. Julia asks her if she is finally going to Dutch bros to buy her coffee now. She says yes.  We make small talk. We enjoyed our meal and ice cream desserts.  Julia pays bill in cash and leaves a tip. Julia writes Nichole a check and hands it to her.  Nichole thanks her. We all get up. Nichole hands us our outer clothing. We thank her and put it all on except for our gloves.  We hug her and Julia and Nichole whisper something in one another's ears as they hug. Nichole leaves. We go to the restroom before we leave.  We put our gloves on and get in the SUV. Julia turns the radio to 101.1 Radio station.  Julia says she has an envelope with cash in  it for her nephew. We need to drop it off at his house.  It's for him to buy gifts for her great niece and nephew.  She drives us to Stockton.  Stockton isn't the safest city.  She tells me to wait inside. She won't be long. She keeps the suv running and has me lock the doors.  I do as she requests. She is speaking with her  nephew.  She hugs him and hands him the envelope.  She returns, and I unlock the driver door.  She gets in and places the seat belt on. She starts driving.

" They are all sick with the flu." " Julia its the season."

Julia removes her gloves and beanie and I do the same.  We are on eight mile . She tells me she is taking I -5 instead because of where the hotel is located at. We hold hands as she drives to Sacramento.  We see a few crashes and road work being done. We finally arrived.  We get out with our luggage. Julia hands the valet employee the keys and receives a ticket.  She places it in her sling bag and we enter the hotel. We see them all having a late lunch.  We go over there and say hello.  We tell them we are going to go to the room to take a nap. They are going to go to a movie. We tell them we went to a drive in  last night.  We tell them to have fun and no more alcohol. They said they won't.  We walk away with our luggage. We wait for the elevator.  We enter.  We are the only ones in it.  We exited the elevator and finally in our room.  Lisa locks the door and places the swing arm on.We removed our coats and placed them on the chairs. We spray ourselves with lysol before we go to Lisa's bedroom for our nap.

" They won't be back for several hours. They probably will go do some more shopping. Cindy knows to call our cellphones to let her in. "

Julia takes her antibiotic and uses the restroom.  I use the restroom next.  Julia has flannel pajama bottoms on with no bra or top on. I  get changed and only have pajama bottoms. I know Julia likes like I do skin on skin. Julia is on her back. I lay on my stomach and move closer to her.  I place one leg and one arm over her body.   It feels good to be in bed with her.  We are covered up. I wish my wife was here.  We fall asleep.
