THE KEY TO MY HEART

The following morning,  I made us oatmeal, and we had toast with a glass of milk and cranberry juice. Cindy had a 8 ounces of cranberry juice and a capaccino. We  load the dishwasher, and Julia starts it. She tells us she will clean up so we can go shopping.  Her guests will be here for lunch. She asks if she could use the rest of the cookies in a container on the counter.  I tell her yes.  Cindy brings me my coat and wallet.  We leave in my escalade.  We go to several stores where the stores were not as packed as the mall was. We waited in line for a while.  We were finally done. We ate the food court, which Cindy paid.  As we're leaving, Cindy runs into one of her old flames.  She hugs her, and introductions are made. They talk for a while as we sit down on a bench. We all get up and say goodbye to her. We leave with my purchases. I am driving as we are listening to Christmas music. I stop to get gas. Once I start driving, Cindy tells me about the gal. Julia cannot stand her so she doesn't come around them. They have breakfast or lunch away from their home. Julia knows about their meals.  I ask her why she doesn't like her. She tells me at the time she was dating her that she didn't know Julia had dated her . She cheated on Julia.   We finally arrive and park.  We unload everything and go inside to begin wrapping.

" You saw that bitch.  I smell her perfume. I can't believe she still uses that. Silvia what did you think of her?" " Not much because they talked and I was on my cellphone texting my dad. They want me to invite my ex and sister to my party. I told my dad in a text not going to happen.  I understand your feelings on she cheating you. It hurts like hell especially when you have strong feeling for them. My dad told me they change the will and I will be in charge.  My sister isn't thrilled.  She is the eldest and feels she should be in charge.  My dad tells me my sister will not be happy when the will is read and for me to hire security before we meet with the lawyers.  He is afraid she will do something stupid again. I will ask Lisa for some recommendations.  Thanks for helping me wrap the gifts.

They both noticed a few bags by me untouched. I tell them I will wrap them in private. Julia and Cindy look at me.  They figure it's their Christmas gifts. They are but will have to wait until we open them in Lake Tahoe. They say we will be driving as the weather won't be safe to fly in. We place the last gifts which weren't many in a box.  They clean up the mess while I take some supplies. I place the supplies and bags inside the box and go to the master guest room. I place the box next to the others.  I close the door and remove the supplies and bag. I remove the prices and begin. It doesn't take me long.  I throw the used left empty containers and price tags.  I toss them in the trash. I place the wrapped gifts in the box. I leave the room with the excess items not used. I go to their garage and place the supplies in the garage in container. I go back inside.   The garage is now locked and the alarm is turned on. I go back inside and ask then if they would like to go with me to my home.  They agree.  I asked Julia to drive my escalade and Cindy to drive my truck. I had some boxes ready with some clothes to go to my house. Some were already in my truck. I have a tarp on the ones in the bed and others inside.  I tell them I have some that need to go in my escalade.  They suggest I use the cart to make it easier plus Cindy doesn't want Julia to hurt her back. We are in the elevator with the cart. We exit and got to the guest room. I tell  Julia which are thr lighter ones.  Cindy and I take heavy ones and place them on the cart. We make several trips.  Cindy asks me if I have a dolly. I tell her yes one with a strap in one of my garages.  We all use the restroom before we get the coats and live. We all leave in my vehicles.  It doesn't take us long to get there. The garage remotes are in the vehicles.  We all drive in once I use my cellphone to turn off the alarm for each garage . The garage Cindy is in has the dolly. We unload that one first. Mine in my Porsche was the last.  We are unloading everything we brought.  Some items I place in my safe in my bedroom behind a bookcase. No one knows about this except the builder, myself, and James.  I am done and go help them unload the others in two upstairs bedroom. I love clothes and shoes.  We work on those first than we go to my bedroom which has photos of us and my close friends . We are done. The bathrooms in the bedrooms except the hallways,kitchen,  games room, living room and kitchen still need to be finished. They ask me who the people are framed on a table, shelf or hung up. I tell them.  Some are deceased relatives. They tell me I look like my grandma and two aunts who are deceased  which I  do. I give them the tour before we are getting ready to leave. Lisa and Taylor arrive. Lisa says she need to look around to see how many people she needs to hire and where any easy areas of being harmed or access.  She looks around and we sit with the heater on. I have been paying my utilities for a few weeks now. All of them I can access on my cellphone.  Taylor and Lisa love the decor and layout. Lisa asks to see the actual main control room.  I tell her two rooms. One is in the kitchen area and the other is in my safe area. I know she knows privacy and won't tell others. They stay in the one room sitting on the couch and we go to my bedroom.  I use my eye to open the room.

" Very nice. They would need your eye to open this and you alive to open it unless they use tools to get in here. It will take a lot of work and they need to know about it."

I tell her who knows as well as my lawyer. She review the system.

" I don't see any weak points. You really did your homework.  I am very impressed.  I know how many to hire.  Would you like me to hire them before we leave to Lake Tahoe.  This way, they get comfortable?"
I tell her yes. I turn off the light and we leave.  The door locks, and I slide the book case. She tells me they did a good job on concealing the room. She would of never known.  We look in the other rooms. We finally go back downstairs. We all leave back to the Ruiz property.  They drive Julia back and Cindy us with me in my Porsche.

" Your place is awesome. I like your security system. No one will know that photo is the security control.  We didn't know until you pointed it out. I think I will have Julia and I change ours. May I have the contact information?" "Once we are inside,  I will text you her name. She is ex military. I used females as much as I could."

We finally are inside.  Julia was inside listening to music and singing. We watched her as we remove our coats and hung them up. I text Cindy the information.  I knew she didn't hear it with the music on. We got closer and we danced with her. We joined in singing.  This was the first time Cindy heard me sing. She told me I had a beautiful voice. I thanked her as we continue to dance.  We stopped and Julia turns the stereo off.  We all decided to snack and watch some hallmark Christmas movies.  We had Carmel and cheese popcorn from Costco.  I got those for us.  Cindy got us sodas and opened them.  Julia left to use the restroom.  We all meet in their movie room with napkins, sodas and popcorn. Julia starts the first movie. The heater is on. We remove our shoes and get a blanket each. We recline with our snacks.  Each recliner has a deep wide holder. We watched four movies and ended up falling asleep before the fifth one came on. We woke up to Julia screaming.  We got up. I turned the TV off and threw everything in the trash.  I got all over shoes. While Cindy helps Julia upstairs to their bedroom.  I go after I take my medicine, remove my  make up and use the restroom.  I wear my velour robe with my  one gun in my and  my comfy and very warm slippers on.  I have my cellphone connected to my charger. They are waiting for me in bed. I place my gun and cellphone on the nightstand on Julia's side.  I plug in my cellphone.  The fireplace is on with wood.  I remove my robe and slippers and place the robe on the bench with my slippers.  I join them in the bed.  We all our naked and we move closer to make Julia feel safe. She tells us her bad dream was when she was rated. The only good part is that he died after he tried to race someone. The husband came home and shot hit per the news I read.  We kissed one another goodnight and talked until we fell asleep.
