THE KEY TO MY HEART

I put cruise control once we are the interstate at 55mph. Silvia and I talked a lot.  I called my brother, Paul, first then Robert.  I called my two cousins and tia. My last call was to Nichole.  They all said they would support my decision but asked me if I was sure.  Silvia heard the conversations because it went through the radio.
We took turns driving.  She called her close friends, and they said basically the same as my loved ones. We only stopped for  restroom breaks, gas, meals,  stretching our legs,  tire rotation, and an oil change.  It took us 58 hours and twenty-three minutes to get to Silvia's home first than mine. We showered at mine and left.  Alice told me to go by her place.  She made us meals and snacks for our trip to Los Angeles. She had beverages too all in my ice chest. I had left at her place on accident.  We did. Jake, Tim, and Alice hugged us. Alice told me to text her when we go to Sophie's home. I told her we would.   Jake places the ice chest in the back on the seat. We leave.

Cindy calls me to tell me she is flying back now and will have everything packed what we agreed on Wednesday while we were driving. Silvia said to text her when she gets there,  she will turn off the alarm and unlock the door. She asks for her only to go to the one room to put the art in. She says she will. I tell her the barn at Silvias is almost done so please have 20 horses which we discussed brought over as well as my vehicles. She said she signed the pink slip and signed it. It just need Lisa to have the man do the rest. The insurance was removed from it already.  We ended our call.  We both spoke to our kids and grandkids. I was getting most of the horses and more art because she was keeping the house. Silvia's house is being expanded for the furniture I am keeping and for my vehicles. I am paying for my own art room.

" I  spoke to my sister about Cindy.  She never stopped loving her but is scared because she knows Cindy will never really stop loving you. You said the same thing to me. I told her you feel the same. If she really loves her, she  needs to have faith.  She said maybe we could have a double wedding. I told, we would have to decide and all four agree if that is to happen. Did you know she still loved Sophie and never stopped?" 
" Yes, and I accepted that."  " Wow, so big of you." The house should be close to finished when we return. I told the contractor to have more people to get it done.  She said she would. Jake will make sure our horses are taken care of. Your neighbors are going to be shocked when they only see five horses. "
" Sweetie, no they won't.  We asked our trainer to tell them about our divorce.  I am not sure if I will continue to let them ride mine. This is your property. "
" You can if you want. Just do a new release of liability with my name. This is our home and always has been."  " What do you mean?"  " I added your name to my deed a long time ago but never mentioned it until now. I was certain you see it my way. "
I shook my head as I drove.

" Sweetie,  you're too much." " Yup, and only yours now. Who knows,  Lisa and Taylor may restart their relationship.  My sister won't go for it. "
