We were up early cooking. We just had toast with butter and hot tea for breakfast. We had everything out on the dining table. Our family and friends were trickling in little by little. Julia gives the people who never been here a tour of the home. I continue to open and close the door. Julia and others returned.
" This is only the third time making this clam chowder on my own without help. I have my own twist to it than what Silvia taught me. Please come and serve yourself what you want and get a beverage or two you want." " Tia, this tastes good. Mom this tastes better than the one you taught Cole and I."
Everyone is enjoying it and had seconds. With this size of group, I know there won't be any left over. It was time for the tiramasu.
" I am a pastry chef. This is delicious Silvia. I can't make it this good. " Hannah taught me and I tweaked it."
Hannah smiles.
" Sis don't get a big head. Dad taught us all how to make it. You and Rachelle just sell it for a profit. James, Julia and I do it for love."
Silvia looks at me.
"YOU KNOW HOW TO MAKE IT TOO?" " Yes and we both make it the same. I didn't want to be the only one making our lunch for everyone. "
"Yup, she has come a long way. She put tartar sauce for tar tar." " Alice no one knew that except for several us."
Everyone laughs at me. Cindy tells us Julia bakes and cooks well but not when they dated on college. I pinched Cindy. Cindy says ouch and knew a punch or something was coming. Everyone enjoyed the meal. We played a few board games before everyone left. The guys did the cleaning for us. Jake started the dishwasher for us. Everyone was finally gone. We took a nice hot bath and read to one another Jane Austin book. Silvia now has them all in her home. She loves her books. We finished the last chapter and got out. We were rinsed off. We got dressed and put lume coconut deodorant on. We removed our make up and went downstairs in our pajamas to play darts. Julia was determined to get better so we could beat Alexa and Jaime.
" Cindy, we need to go to Costco to shop. I wrote we need."
We leave. Cindy wants to see a movie that is playing before we go to Costco. She is driving us there.
"Alexa it looks like it's working out for the four of them. "
" I still don't trust Sophie. We will have to wait to see if she cheats on her. For her sake she better not. I will beat her."
I grabbed by wife by by the waist and told her it's there relationship. We are here to support both are second mothers. Neither of them would want us to harm anyone. She says okay like a little kid. We head to go golfing with a few friends.
" I have improved. I will be ready to play them. No mercy either. "
I kiss Julia and we sit down on the couch watching a hallmark movie.
Sophie and I enjoyed the movie. We ordered four hotdogs when she is paying for what is in both baskets. We make our way out the door after the employee checks the receipt. Cindy goes and get the truck. I am in line at the pick up window. I am handed the hotdogs and 4 cups. Cindy took one cart with her. I add the condiments and close the bag for each one. I place them in the cart. I have napkins and 4 straws too. I now start working on the sodas. I place the lids and put them in between boxes. I make my way to the truck. Cindy helps me unload everything and we take our drinks, straws, napkins and hot dogs in the truck. We get in. Cindy starts the truck. We have two drinks in the drink holders. We put on our seat belts while holding the second drink. Cindy locks the doors and states she is going to pull in the parking lot away from everyone leaving the truck running with the heater on so we can enjoy our dinner.
Silvia made BBQ chicken wings with a salad. We are enjoying our meal and beer while watching tv. We cleaned up and went up stairs to use the telescope to watch planets and stars. Silvia has a regular size solid brass out on the balcony which has a hot tub and rattan furniture. We bring coats with us. It is still cold weather. We finally are inside and in bed. We fall asleep quickly.
Alexa and all of us ate dinner at the club house. We didn't win but bad fun. We both are home in bed watching the late news. We have it on a timer so we don't have to worry about turning it off. We fall sleep.
Sophie and I are finally in bed watching TV before we fall asleep.
