It took us a while to get everything unloaded. We thanked Lisa, and she left. We started separating the purchases in piles. WIte went to get our Christmas supplies from the garage and begun working on them. We finally were done several hours. We tossed everything that was bags, etcetera in the dumpster.  We made quesadillas with some soup and ice tea for dinner.  Julia took two tabs of lactaid tablets an hour before she ate. We watched the evening news. We cleaned up and ran the dishwasher.  We went to take a nice bath before bedtime.  Once we did our nightly routine,  we started going on line to order the last of the gifts. We were now officially done. We logged off on our laptops and placed them on the couch. We got the book to read a few chapters before we fell asleep.

Several days had passed. We were now  at Jaime's graduation.  Cindy had the Porsche towed to their home.  Jaime picked up Alexa and gave her so many hugs and kisses.  We laughed and were happy for her.   They read out Dr. Jaime Cabrera and we whistled and clapped. Their parents had photos of Jaime from when she was in high school after she had all of her surgeries.  Not all knew about her being Carlos or Carlo to the present.  The ceremony lasted over an hour.  We left after many photos were taken for the Cabrera home. We arrived to hear mariachis playing and a couple singing.  We walked to the backyard that had one huge tent. The  Cabreras didn't spare any expense. The interior of the tent and all the tables were decorated beautifully with flowers and photos of Jaime. They had one table in the center of the tent for gifts.  Cindy placed the envelope on the table. She kept the cash and would give it to her later.  We enjoyed the music and all the Mexican food with alcohol free beverages. Her parents both spoke about her. Jaime spoke up next thanking everyone, especially her parents. She opened her presents.  Alexa wrote down the item and who gave her what. The look on her face when she opened the huge card and read it its entirety was priceless.  She thanked everyone and stated she asked several people, and they all said they didn't know. She was glad she didn't have to pay her school loans. She saw the note that was on a sticky note to come by to get the cash.  She nodded at me. We had dessert and we danced until close to midnight. We all left after helping the cabreras clean up. The Cabreras had people take home flowers to their homes.  We were tired, especially our feet from dancing so much. We went home tired but happy.  We took a shower and fell asleep.  The following morning,  Alexa and Jaime brought over some breakfast burritos for the four of us to ear. Cindy made coffee for them, and I had my pineapple and orange juice lagers for breakfast.

" Alexa told me before we fell asleep it was you two who came up with the idea to get ask everyone to give what they wanted to help me reduce my school loans. I would have never expected that. I am appreciate everything you both have done for me since my freshman year in high school."

She got up to hug us both. Cindy excused herself to go to our office to get the manilla envelope out of our safe. She  bought it and handed it to Jaime.  Jaime opens it and sees a lot of cash. Cindy wrote on the edge how much was inside. Alexa held her as she cried.  I went and got her the kleenex box from the lounge by the kitchen.  I handed her the box. She toom several to blow her nose and few others so they both could wipe their tears.  She said she would donate some of it to their former high school to the lunch program fit students who did not buy lunch.  The rest was to pay off her personal debts. She said she had a lot of thank you notes to write.  They talked about their upcoming wedding, which would be helf by the Lake and the Majestic Hotel.  They tossed the dirty kleenex and washed up before they left.

" Julia, now we can cry. We did good with those gals. They went through so much since high school."

I was agreeing with my wife nodding as we both were crying. We used some tissue to blow our noses and wipe our tears.  We both were glad that we had no make up on.  We tossed the soiled kleenex and washed our hands. Packages were arriving from FedEx, Amazon, UPS, DHL, and USPS. We opened up the boxes and plastic bags. We went to get more of the Christmas supplies. This didn't take long to do today. We put everything away and washed up. We got our book to read more chapters. We were making barley soup with fresh corn bread for lunch. We could smell the corn bread. We enjoyed our lunch with Lisa and Jake. They informed us of other areas that needed repair. Jake said he would take care of his area for his goats. We thanked them. They enjoyed the lunch.  Lisa told us the pipes were installed and working.  Julia told Lisa to go ahead and ordered the supplies needed. Lisa hands Cindy the bill. She says she will write a check and mail it out today. They left after they cleared the kitchen. We already the dishwasher before they came. We were glad we made enough for lunch. It was all gone. Cindy was making pasta noodles from scratch.  I was working on the sauce and fillings for raviolis for dinner tonight.  We had frozen the rest of the tamales last night. The two of us worked in tandem. The raviolis were cooking.  We would make the foccacia bread and a salad later on.  We used several boxes to put the books we were donating to local schools.  This took a while. We loaded them up several times on the two golf carts and drove them to the front gate. Each box had the name of the school on them.  Each school would have someone come to get them.  Our security at the front gate was left in charge to make this happen.  We drove the golf carts back and filled them up with gas. We sold most of our golf carts to the people on our property and to our neighbors. Alexa bought two of them. We washed up and drank a cup of pink lemonade before we sat down to finish the newest book we were reading.  We fell asleep.  We woke up to lightning.  Julia called to see how the horses were doing. They were spooked but okay.  We saw flames and the fire employees were here putting out a fire. We could smell the stitch. We left in one golf cart to inspect the damage.  Lisa said it could of been worse but the employees started using hoses and fire extinguishers immediately. Cindy and I asked if anyone got hurt. We were glad to hear no one got hurt. She said another security employee was taking all the fire extinguishers to be filled up.  We asked her to have all of them on the property and to come and get ours too. She started counting them and told us she would call the company we used to come out instead. We left to go back to our home. We removed all of ours and left them outside.  Cindy called the security guard to tell him and have them do the two of theirs too. About two hours later,  two employees came to fill them up.  Our raviolis were ruined. We turned it on low but still they were ruined.  We made spaghetti and focaaccia bread for lunch which was delicious.  We cleaned up and dumped the ruin raviolis in the dumpster by our home. We took a nice long bath and got dressed into our pajamas. The firemen and firewomen left. We knew we would be receiving an expensive bill. We recalled when fire services were free.  We slept the entire day and night.
