3rd Person POV

Almost all of the new students joined SOTUS again the next day.

Now, each committee was checking the signature books. Most of the new students had 300 signatures, where the target on the fourth day was 800 signatures.

This was certainly not a fun Friday for the new students. But the seniors were quite generous. They only gave one push-up for every 5 signatures, which meant an average of 100 push-ups.

And then there was Beam.

He had 980 signatures. Which meant he got almost 400 signatures yesterday from the boys who thought he was a 'rock star' for having the phone numbers of all the girls in Engineering.

Forth walked towards Beam.

Beam was the only new student standing tall after his friends did their 100 push-ups.

"You look happy," Forth said to Beam.

Park and Lam watched behind him, just in case he exploded in anger because of Beam and threatened to ban SOTUS for violence.

Beam smiled. "SOTUS is fun."

Pause.

"...P'Forth."
It sounded like a hiss.

Forth blinked slowly. He wasn't Park—he rarely got angry over small things, but just seeing Beam made his blood boil in anger.

Forth looked around. The other new students were now sitting on the field. They were defeated, sweating profusely.

"I saw you didn't ask for signatures from the orientation team," Forth said to Beam, glaring at him.

Beam still smiled. "Why should I? The goal of getting signatures is to get to know my seniors, right? I already know all of you, P'Forth." And he even glanced politely at Park and Lam. "P'Lam, P'Park...."

Forth gritted his teeth and tried hard to keep his composure even though Lam could see imaginary steam coming out of Forth's head.

"I see." Forth nodded. "You care a lot about getting to know your seniors. What about your classmates? Do you know them?"

The orientation team knew for sure, the first years didn't like Beam. Beam seemed to be trying to talk to them but they turned their faces away. Beam wouldn't...

"Of course." Beam surprisingly claimed.

"Really?" Forth didn't believe him.

"EVERYONE! turn your name tags back!" He ordered the first-year students.

Everyone complied.

Beam kept smiling. He locked his gaze on Forth.

Forth pointed at some students randomly. "Who's he?"

Beam looked at that student. "Posh." He answered.

Forth was taken aback. Beam knew him? Even Posh was surprised that Beam knew his name.

Maybe Beam knew him because he often sat next to Beam.

Forth pointed randomly at a slightly distant male student. "Who's he?"
