"Do you want me to drive again?" Beam offered to drive again on Sunday morning. "You look tired."
Forth smiled. "I'm fine. I just need to make sure they're all on the bus and we're ready to go. Wait a minute, eh, N'Beam?"
Beam nodded. He sat in the back of Forth's car and leaned his head back as he watched Forth do his final checks.
His eyes couldn't stop staring at the gear on Forth's right wrist. It was worn, its skin... Forth never took it off.
Forth never gave his heart to anyone after Wayo.
He must have been hurt so much that he failed to rise again.
Beam blinked. He wore his glasses because the heavy feeling made his eyes water.
He could see Forth jogging back to him with a wide smile.
Home.
The word left a heavier feeling in Beam's heart.

your girlfriend and want to make up, it's not that easy."
"I never had a girlfriend anyway." Beam countered.
"I said IF!"
Silence.
Phana sighed. "Look, I'll have to drive and drop Wayo off at his class. And then go to my class. Professor Aunty's class is the first one on Monday morning."
"That's the perfect schedule you've got." Beam teased.
"Shut up! You should have it too but you left it for your stupid reasons!"
Beam chuckled softly.
"Stop by at the Medical School for lunch, we need to talk." Phana said. "And please bring your brain and consciousness. I want to talk to them, not you."
Beam laughed. "Alright. I will. Thanks, Pha."
Beam and Pha ended the call.
Beam remained seated for at least five minutes before he drove away from the parking lot to his Faculty.
Beam walked past Forth, Park, and Lam who were chatting in front of their class. "Sawadee, P'Forth, P'Park, P'Lam..." He greeted them with a teasing smile forming on his lips.
"One day, I'm gonna smack you." Park replied.
Beam laughed. He waved his hand as he walked away.
"Beam!" Posh called out to him. "Our class got moved to the one on the left!"
Forth chuckled softly as he watched Beam being pulled to the other side by Posh, with Wai following behind them.
Beam was really adapting well.

Beam walked past Kongpob and his gang as he exited the Faculty during lunch break. He smiled and greeted them.
"You look good in that jacket," Kongpob remarked.
"Thanks, P'. I'll make sure P'Arthit hears how handsome you think I am," Beam said with a bright smile.
