angry.
Kit hit Beam's head. "Watch your behavior. Pha's mad, don't make it worse."
Beam pouted, but he nodded. "Sorry, Pha~..."
Phana sighed. "Promise me that you'll truly stick to your words and not cause any trouble again."
Beam nodded.
A long silence followed.
Phana sighed. "Just finish your move. You can start your classes right the next day." He said in a softer tone.
Beam looked at Phana. He didn't understand.
Kit chuckled softly.
Beam looked at Kit. "I don't get it. Is it that easy?"
Kit still hugged Beam's shoulder. "We've known you for a long time. We know your impulsive nature won't last long, so... Besides keeping your dorm room, we also kept you still enrolled as a Medicine student." He explained. "Before your resignation papers were processed, Phana turned it into a leave."
Beam blinked. He looked at Kit in disbelief and then he looked at Phana. "Really?!"
Phana nodded. He was smiling now. "Yeah. I knew you'd come back to my arms. You're silly and impulsive."
Beam smiled sadly. "Yeah..."
Phana blinked. "Okay, now I don't know you... At all. Who are you? Where's that annoying retort you always used to shoot? Did you lose it somewhere during SOTUS?"
Beam took a long deep breath. "Yeah... Something like that."
"Looks like SOTUS really worked. It even changed you." Kit said.
Beam chuckled softly. He looked down. "Yeah. SOTUS is great."
Kit ruffled Beam's hair. "Okay. Just pack your stuff. I'll swing by tomorrow and help you while Phana handles your resignation."
Beam nodded. "Thanks, Kit." He still looked down and then he looked up at Phana. "Thanks, Pha."
Phana just nodded. He knew something was wrong. He'll pry it out of Beam... Sooner or later.
First things first.
Get Beam home.
"Beam, do you want to go to dinner together?" Posh knocked on Beam's door. Wai stood slightly behind him.
No response.
"Maybe he's gone out with P'Forth or his friends from Medicine," Wai said.
Posh nodded.
Posh and Wai walked side by side, leaving Beam's door.
Beam stared at the door. He was actually inside his room. He still didn't have his Engineering books. Classes had just started, and he still hadn't bought the required textbooks... And now he felt like he shouldn't even be here.
Beam took his clothes one by one from the closet.
Running away usually wasn't his style. But this time, he couldn't think of any other way.
Forth befriended Phana again. Would socialize around them again, whether he had moved on from Wayo or not.
If he had, then this was the time to shine again.
Forth Jaturapoom, everyone knows.
The smooth hunter.
Between he would play his old games, or find someone to anchor his heart... And Beam didn't want to be there to witness it.
Also, the ridiculous thing about ForthBeam that the freshmen push should be stopped. It could ruin anything Forth wanted to do.
Beam blinked at his signature book.
He opened the last page.
"I love you too, N'Beam."
Yup, illusions had to be stopped too.
Beam left the signature book on his desk. Didn't pack it with his belongings.
He ordered delivery for dinner and then went to sleep.
....................
Beam still had breakfast with Forth as usual. It was the 20th day. There were still 10 days left before Beam finished his breakfast with Forth.
But...
"Do you always wear your gear bracelet, P'...?" Beam asked.
"Oh, this?" Forth raised his right wrist. "Yeah. Why?"
Beam laughed. "No wonder it looks worn out."
Forth chuckled. "Yeah..."
"You can't give that crappy leather bracelet to someone you love, P', you know... They'll think you're giving them garbage or something."
"Ouch, daring to say that my heart is garbage, N'Beam?" Forth playfully hit Beam's head.
Beam laughed. "At least change that bracelet, for God's sake, P'Forth. Be wiser. Make it more presentable and neat. That gear is crying."
Forth rolled his eyes.
"Tsk." Beam took off the bracelet on his right wrist. "Here, use mine."
