Promotional pictures were already above the other Months.

Beam really didn't like this. He preferred doing SOTUS rather than doing this Month Training. "P'Ming, please... I don't want to..."

Ming dragged Beam for this Month Training anyway.

But by the second hour, Beam had disappeared. Ming had to report to Forth, and now Forth was dragging Beam across the hall and then throwing him into the Auditorium.

Beam pleaded with Forth with his eyes. "Please, Ai'Forth... I don't..."

Forth glared in anger. He didn't want Park to tease him again, and he might be right, he was too gentle before. "That's P'...." He hissed.

"Please, P'Forth..." Beam repeated his plea. He even made a cute two-claw motion on his cheek.

Forth laughed. It was cute but then he coughed to regain his composure. "That's cute, but still no." He sharply pushed Beam's shoulder with both hands. "I'll be here if you need anything."

Beam sighed. He walked into the Auditorium. Wayo and Ming were there as last year's Months. Phana was there too to lead the training.

Phana's and Forth's eyes met for a moment but then Phana cut it first. It was still uncomfortable between them.

Wayo didn't care too much about that cold stare. He was happy to see Forth. He even waved at him.

Kit was there too, just to tease Beam during the break later.

Park and Lam joined Forth on his right and left side.
"A shoulder push? That's gentle. You should kick his butt to try skipping Month Training." Park hissed at Forth.

Forth turned to Park. "Why don't you stop, Park?"

"You don't mean much to me, Forth, almost none. But Lam's always worried about you." Park said in a whisper so Lam on the other side couldn't hear. "You messed up when Wayo chose Phana over you, and all this time you stopped playing? Lam's worried. If you decide to rise up, make sure it's not for Beam. Because boy, falling for that guy, you'll take forever to rise up, and you'll hurt yourself and Lam along the way because of who he is."

"I don't feel that way towards Beam," Forth said.

"Are you sure?"

"I would know if I did, wouldn't you think so?" Forth countered.

"I don't know," Park said. "You tell me."

"We should get back to SOTUS," Lam broke the cold argument between Park and Forth.

"I'll wait here."

"Pay attention to the Engineering Month this time, not the Science Month last year," Park warned Forth.

Forth glared at Park unimpressed.

"And stay professional," Park added in a hushed tone.

Forth waved a middle finger in response.

Park walked away followed by Lam. "Why do you always start a fight with Forth?" Lam asked.

"Why are you always on his side?" Park retorted.

"I'm not," Lam denied.

"Yeah? We'll see," Park clicked his tongue.

..................................

Ming, as last year's Campus Month, had to lead all the training activities. That left Beam with his senior Engineering Month, Forth. It wouldn't have been necessary if Beam hadn't been trying to skip the training all the time. But he always tried, and Ming couldn't handle it, so Forth was here for him.

Forth's inbox was full of messages from Park reminding him not to be soft and to convince Beam to win the competition while he handled Forth's orientation activities.

Forth responded to all of Park's messages with a middle finger emoji.

The guy was truly annoying when he worried about Lam. Anyway, if it had to do with Lam worrying about Forth, it must be the burning jealousy.

"Maybe we should set Park and Lam up," Forth suddenly said to Beam amidst their discussion about the talent show in ten days.

Beam laughed. He was still thinking about the nonexistent talent he never had, but the sudden statement caught his attention.

"Park's always jealous of me. He's silly. Lam's clearly head over heels for him. I mean... He lets Park dominate his personal space. He's always by Park's side even though I've been his good friend since high school," Forth felt stressed.

Beam chuckled softly. "But Park doesn't know about Lam's feelings and vice versa."

Forth sighed.

"Why don't you do something about it?"

Forth looked at Beam. "And then what? Max with Tul, Park with Lam, I'll be alone."

Beam smiled sadly. "Yeah... When suddenly your good friends have girlfriends, it's nauseating. All the time."

Forth sighed.

"Are you okay?" Beam suddenly asked.

"No. Park's getting on my nerves."

"No, not Park. I mean..." Beam looked towards the stage where Phana and Wayo were sitting side by side while the Star and the Moon were being guided by their seniors.

Forth shook his head. "I'm fine."

Beam looked at Forth with concern. "You're just like me before, like Park before. You're not playing anymore, which means you haven't risen up yet."

Forth sighed. "I'm just busy."

Beam sighed. "Yeah. Whatever helps you sleep at night, Forth."

"P'Forth." Forth corrected Beam.

Beam chuckled softly. "Ah, P'Forth, forgive me..."

Forth chuckled softly too. "Are you sure you don't have any talent?"

Beam shook his head. "No. I don't have anything."

"But the girls really love you."

"Because I'm skilled in sex, P'Forth. Do you want to see me have sex on stage?" Beam asked calmly.
