It had been three days.
Three days since the Cullens had returned to Forks, Washington.
Three days since Sam had attacked Edward.
Three days since Cordelia had thrown Jasper into the woods.
Three days since her father told her that her mother would be buried here, in Forks with her parents.
Three days since Cordelia Austin had locked herself in her room.
Three days since she cut contact with everyone.
Sam and Emily were getting their information from Jonas himself. The funeral, times, date, ect. They spread the information to the people who they knew Jonas would appreciate being there. No more, no less.
Not knowing the feud going on between the two girls at the moment, Jonas relayed the message to Charlie, extending the invitation to his brunette daughter, as he had had been a good friend to them for years.

The day had come, and it seemed as if the house was quieter than usual.
It seemed it was always quiet, but it had a stillness to it that made the house feel cold.
Still with her door locked, her curtains closed, and her lights dim, Cordelia wiped at her face with a makeup wipe for the fifth time that morning. She was trying her hardest to do a winged liner, yet her eyes would swell with tears and blur, and her line would go crooked.
At the sixth attempt, her anger flared, as she grabbed what was closest to her, a picture of her family, hurling it across the room, listening to the glass shatter.
"FUCK!" She screamed at the top of her lungs as her anger turned to rage, eventually turning to regret as she heard her father pace outside of her door.
Picking up the larger shards of glass in one hand, and the picture on the other, she glared at the woman who was smiling so brightly at the camera. The woman who held the not even six month baby in her arms as her husband stood behind her, his eyes gazing lovingly down at his small family.
How could she do this! How could she leave us! Cori thought to herself, her hands bawling into fists until the stinging sensation grew to the point of pain. Looking down she noticed her own crimson blood dripping onto the carpeted floor. With a yelp she drop the glass, making it clatter once again to the ground as she rushed to the bathroom.
Unlocking the door to her bedroom, Jonas was shocked to not only see his daughter, but to see her hand covered in blood. "Cori!" "It's fine dad." She told him as she shut the bathroom door. Grabbing a bottle of peroxide, she poured some on her hand, watching it fizzle as she doused it again. Using a small piece of gauze, she ran it over the cuts, thinking that if there were any tiny pieces of glass, she would feel them pull.
Doctoring her hand, securing it with bandages, she made her way back to her room. "We need to leave soon." Jonas told his daughter. "I know." "You don't have to wear make up. You're beautiful without it." He told her, noticing the smudged eye liner and mascara. Cori huffed as she decided to ditch the eyes today, and only place on some tinted chap stick, throwing on a pair of shades.
Strictly in spite of her mother wanting her to be a lady, and dress appropriately, instead of a black dress, like most daughters would tend to do, she went with black dress pants, a black v neck blouse, flats, and the black trench coat her father got her a few years back. The cream color of her bandaged hand seemed to stick out like a sore thumb, but she wasn't planning on staying long.
