*This chapter is a little all over the place, so I will try to make it as self explanatory as possible. If you have questions, please let me know.*

It was dark in the small town of Forks, Washington. The street lamps and the moon being the only sources of light at the late hour.

4:15am

Cordelia Austin laid in her bed, her face screwed up in various directions as different emotions filtered through her at her constantly changing dream.

"It looks like you're going to be perfectly fine Cordelia. I had a look at your scans myself and they look as good as new. Your sutures have closed nicely and the swelling in your brain has decreased significantly since your surgery back in March." Carlisle told the girl as she sat in the hospital room, two weeks after prom.

"Then why am I still passing out?" She asked. "It may have to do with something else. Something medicine can't find." Carlisle told her with a small smile. "And my casts?" She asked with a hopeful smile. "We'll do a check up x-ray on it next time you come in. For now you're looking at still three to six more weeks." He told her. "Carlisle!" She whined. "I'm sorry Cori. I don't make the rules." He told her as he patted her arm.

Memory

June 5th
"Happy Birthday!" Alice cheered as she saw the redhead, Edward bringing her over to the house. "Alice I said something small!" Cori told the pixy like woman, glancing at her partners as they both looked away. "It is small! No streamers or balloons, and you love balloons!" Alice told the girl, "I even made cupcakes instead of buying a cake!" "You made cupcakes?" Cori and Bella asked, Cori's brows furrowing.

"Esme made them, doesn't matter." "Trust me. It does matter Ally." "Oh hush! Anyway open your presents!" Alice excitedly said. "I thought I told you both no presents." She said looking at Edward and Bella as they each held out a small wrapped package. "I made mine, so it doesn't count." Bella told her. "And your excuse?" She asked Edward. "I've gotten you a present for your birthday for the past three years. It's not stoping now." He told her and she couldn't argue with him.

Opening Bella's it was a scrapbook of all of their photos they had taken together. "Wait, are these my pictures?" Cori asked. "Your dad let me in. Me he's not mad at." Bella smiled as Edward frowned, Jonas Austin still intimidating him if he was being honest.

Edward gave his present to her. Unwrapping it she got excited as she saw where it was from. A charm to put on her bracelet. The one he had gotten her on their one year anniversary. Every birthday and Christmas he gives her another charm to add to it. This one being a triskillion. "It's a symbol of all three of us." Edward told her and Cori smiled. "It's perfect! Thank you babe." She said reaching up on her tip toes to  give him a kiss on the cheek.

When Cordelia was dropped back off at her house by her father's request, there was a small box on the door step.

'Happy Birthday Cori." ~Sam

Dream

Screaming all she could hear was screaming. 'Bella' she thought as she ran, but where she was, it was complete and utter darkness. "Bella! BELLA!" Cori screamed, tears rolling down her face, as the wails of pain seemed to ring louder and louder in her ears.

Dream

"BELLA!" Cori scream as it seemed to bounce around the stone walls of the city that Cordelia had never seen before. Running as she shoved people out of her way, the waves of people gave way to a line of trees, and before she could stop herself she crashed through them.

Looking around Cori immediately found solace in the meadow that she and Edward had found. Looking to her right Cori sighed in relief as she spotted Bella, just a few steps further out than she had ventured.

Looking at the brunette, she had realized that Bella hadn't even realized she was there. "Bella?" She called out, then followed her eyes to the other side, where a woman stood, actually two women.

Taking a few steps closer she watched as one of the women moved, the other standing still. "Bells." She called again, looking at her girlfriend turned towards her, acknowledging her presence. "Lia! Oh thank god." Bella said rushing to bring Cori into a hug.

As Cori sank into the hug, she kept her eyes on the two women who were also now in an embrace. "Bella? Who are they?" Cori asked pointing at the women. "I don't know. The one looks like my gran though." The brunette said.

Cori raised her hand to wave, but paused as one of the women copied her. Feeling Bella tense, Cori followed her line of sight to see Edward walking out of the trees. "Edward! Don't! They'll see you!" The two girls said in unison.

The vampire made his way to the two girls, a look in his eyes of love as he looked them, seemingly not worried about the other women in the meadow. "Okay then." Cori said softly. Connecting his hand with Bella's he kissed Cori's head, taking her hand in his other one.

"Hey." Cori said with a smile as she looked up at him. "Come on." He told them as they started to walk forward, the other women walking forward as well, only spaced apart, their hand out to their sides, as if they were holding something.

As they got closer, the woman looked more and more like Cordelia's mother. The red hair, blue eyes, the starting of crows feet, but over all still youthful and young. The only difference was the eye color, and it made Cori stop for a second, doubting her decision.

"Gran, I'd like you to meet-"
"Mom, I want you to meet-"

The girls said at the same time but realized that the two older women were speaking at the same time, their mouths moving, no words coming out. "What's going on?" Cori asked as she looked to Bella, then to Edward, but he looked lost.

Watching Bella as her finger came up, touching fingers with the older woman, a mirror was revealed. A mirror showing the two girls, the two older versions of themselves, one much older than the other, even though the same amount of time had passed.

Taking Bella's hand Edward kissed it. "Happy Birthday Bella." He told her as he then turned to Cori. "I'm sorry I missed yours." He told her. "It's okay." She told him as he produced a small box, the same box she got every year. Inside was. Small charm. "Thank you. I've kept every one." She told him holding up her arm to which had a bracelet with over one hundred charms on it.

Gasping awake, Cori sprang up and out of her bed, a cool hand immediately on her back.

Spinning around, she found Edward propped up on her bed with a book open in his hand and a confused and worried look on his face. "Nightmare again?" He asked as she looked around. "Yeah, you could say that." She told him as she spotted her bracelet with only five charms on it. Glancing down to her arm, she smiled finding no cast, just smooth creamy skin.

Breathing out a sigh of relief, she looked over at him, then spotted the wrapped present. "It's Bella's birthday!" She remembered. "Yeah, and she's gonna be super annoyed at that present." "What kind of girlfriend would I be if I wasn't annoying?" Cori asked and Edward chuckled.
