All of Hyunjin's senses were on edge. He could hear a pin drop from a mile away. He could feel the leaves brushing underneath his feet even between the soles of his shoes.

Realistically- he knew that he had been turned. He knew he wasn't a human anymore, if the pair of ears and the tail that kept smacking his ass annoyingly was anything to go by.

But he didn't know how in the hell he ended up like this in the first place. Had he spent too much time with his werewolf boyfriends? Or did they bite him without him knowing?

A small part of him knew that they would only bite him if they absolutely needed to with his own consent- but a larger, very angry and confused part of him, was scared of them and couldn't trust anyone but himself. Even if his body had changed to be something that even he didn't recognize.

The clothes he found on the floor in the nest room fit awkwardly. The waistband pulled down to accommodate for the annoying tail and his ears flattened almost painfully under the beanie, but it was cold outside and even if his body felt like it was on fire, he needed protection from the cold.

Quiet as a mouse, Hyunjin held back his sobs with his hand cupping his mouth as he exited the cabin. The crisp night air that normally would have sent shivers down his spine, not accommodated to such cold weather, felt like a gentle breeze against his pin needle skin.

Right, Hyunjin wasn't a human anymore. He ran warm.

Ignoring the tears that burned his cheeks upon falling- because his skin was sensitive even to his own tears- Hyunjin pulled two unsteady arms around his frame to stumble his way through the forest.

He didn't know what time it was- but he would guess sometime early in the morning because the pale moonlight covered partially by the dark clouds shone from slightly below the horizon. It was a stormy night, the kind that didn't welcome morning and hid the sun.

The wind howled furiously, stinging the exposed skin on the tip of his nose as he traversed the pathway that would lead him home. Hopefully.

He was so blinded by his own tears that he honestly didn't even know where his feet were taking him.

The rain came like an unwelcome omen, pouring down like the sky was crying along with Hyunjin and effectively soaking his warm skin. He felt fevered.

Hyunjin cowered some more in on himself, pulling the useless knit beanie off of his head to release his constantly twitching ears that were practically begging to be seen. The darkness around him was all encompassing, hardly any light seeped through the canopy of trees. Even So, Hyunjin was startled when he realized that he could actually see in the darkness.

He was also startled when a smell wafted through his senses, something so familiar and appetizing that it made his stomach curl in on itself with the worst hunger that Hyunjin had ever experienced in his entire life.

The bushes rustled somewhere to his right, and beyond the trees, a fuzzy little thing darted to escape the weather.

Saliva pooled in Hyunjin's mouth.

He was hungry.
