Hyunjin's seven pet wolves (SKZ werewolf AU)- OT8

As expected, Hyunjin was to remain a wolf pup until his body fully adjusted and his wolf was happy enough for him to turn back to a human. A full day was considered normal, but of course, for Hyunjin, nothing went according to plan.

He was in the body of a wolf pup for a total of three days.

Chan could vaguely remember when he presented and got to explore the territory happily in his wolf form for the first time. It was the most free he had ever felt, and of course, when he went into rut shortly after and presented as an alpha- everything fell into place.

Hyunjin spent the rest of the first day learning how to walk. They all monitored him like he was a little baby as he stumbled clumsily around on the floor and Felix, Jisung, and Changbin cheered him on like his own fan club.

The wolf happily received their cheering by trying to make a little howl of his own, but it only came out as a little high pitched yip. As they all laughed, Hyunjin looked down to his paws, embarrassed.

"Aw, don't feel bad pup," Jisung kneeled down to boop Hyunjin's nose, causing him to sneeze. "You can't make any howl noises yet- you'll have to wait until you grow bigger like us."

Hyunjun looked up at Jisung, unimpressed, before continuing to amble out of the nest room to explore the rest of the room while everyone just laughed at Jisung's expense.

After Hyunjin had explored the entire den (with Minho following him around protectively in case he fell or got lost,) he found his way back to the living room where they all lingered because the nest room was getting stuffy after remaining inside of it for too long. They left the windows open to air it out.

"Look who it is," Jeongin pointed to the small ball of fluff, "did he have fun exploring?"

Minho scoffed, "he almost knocked our toilet paper supply over when he tripped and fell."

"Yah! I wished I had caught it on camera!" Changbin whined, even if he held his camera up to Hyunjin's face the entire time to record every moment of him like a proud mama.

"It's okay," Seungmin smirked wearily, "I'm sure you have enough content."

Jeongin laughed at the dry comment as he flicked the Tv on, surfing through the channels until he landed on a movie that they all enjoyed and wouldn't mind rewatching, if only to relax from the stressful week.

Chan settled down, and when he felt a cold nose pressing into his ankle, he was too tired to recognize the sensation at first. But then, when he felt little teeth tug at the cuff of his sweatpants, he bent down to look at Hyunjin who sat on his haunches and looked up at him expectantly.

"I think he wants up, Chan hyung," Jisung teased, and Chan just huffed in an amused way before gently hooking his hands under Hyunjin's armpits and lifting him to sit on his lap.

"There you go."

Hyunjin placed a paw to his chest in order to propel himself upwards and land a clumsy lick on Chan's chin before ambling out of his hold and curling onto Minho's lap. It was like a betrayal, but Hyunjin was too cute for him to care.

"Boo, he likes the alphas," Jisung gave Minho a petty thumbs down and Minho only rolled his eyes as he ran his fingers through Hyunjin's fluff. They would need to brush it soon, but for now, it was too cute to tame and it reminded Chan of his normal bed head.

"He must like Minho's scent. It's pretty calming," Seungmin defended, "it's pretty easy on the nose. Plus, he fed him the most food, and the way to a wolf's stomach is with food."

Jeongin peeked over Minho's shoulder. "Does that mean that he'll present as an alpha? It would be nice if he turned out to be a beta, though."

"My money's on beta," Seungmin agreed, and Chan rubbed his face.
