Chan immediately wrapped the blanket tighter Around Hyunjin's shivering form when they entered the cabin- because while he had been stupidly worried about a bunch of random wolves, he had neglected the fact that his lips were turning blue."How about a bath," Chan suggested to the human, "it'll give you some time to process and we can make a warm meal for you."
At his subtle order, the others dispersed through the cabin to do their task (and hopefully put some clothes on.) while Hyunjin just nodded numbly.
At least he hasn't passed out?
Chan would take small victories.
When they got to the restroom, the tub was already half full with Felix sitting on the ledge, occasionally checking the temperature. He must have added Suds and his favorite bubble soap because the surface of the water was obscured. Chan would tease Felix later, because he was always so particular about his soaps and letting one of them use them.
Chan felt Hyunjin shiver some more to his side so Chan rubbed his hands up and down his arms in a lame attempt to warm him up while Jeongin poked his head into the room with a pile of fluffy clothes that belonged to all of them.
"Are you okay by yourself?" Chan asked, concerned when Hyunjin didn't even look at him when he nodded. Chan hesitated, and Felix shrugged up at him helplessly.
Chan and Felix left the room right when Hyunjim dropped the blanket from his shoulders and they didn't linger any longer because Hyunjin very obviously wanted to be left alone. Or maybe he was just in shock.
Probably both.
"How is he?" Jeongin asked hopefully from where Jisung was instructing him on how to properly stack blankets and pillows onto the couch for maximum comfort. Felix immediately went over to help while Chan thought of what to say.
"He's... processing."
Jeongin buried his head in his hands and whined. "He's going to hate us forever, isn't he?"
Felix shuffled closer, releasing his familiar caramel-chocolate scent as he patted his back reassuringly. "It's okay Innie. We just need to give him some time. Yeah?"
'Time' ended up being half an hour later when he emerged from the restroom with dripping hair and red ruddy cheeks (and the tip of his nose.) he had his Arms wrapped around himself, even if he was wearing the thickest clothes that they had to offer.
"You're still cold?" Changbin asked with a frown, already moving to burrito him into another blanket and lead him to the couch. Minho quickly set a steaming cup of tea on the table in front of him while Felix tisked disapprovingly.
"What did I say about drying your hair after baths, Hyunjin?"
"You can dry his hair while he eats," Minho returned into the room with a bowl of warm stew. He has made two servings of the stew- one of which was in the crock pot back at Hyunjin's depressing apartment.
"You got to dry his hair last time," Changbin complained to Felix, who only stuck his tongue out in response, but eventually gave up and let Changbin take the towel to sit behind Hyunjin and towel dry his hair.
Hyunjin didn't look too particularly bothered by the contact, taking the warm bowl with a small 'thanks' to Minho before bringing the spoon to his mouth.
Chan cleared his throat to address the awkward silence that began to hang in the air like an invisible vail. "So, Hyunjin... do you have any questions?"
Hyunjin snorted, as if the question was a joke, and slowly lowered the spoon back to the bowl. "Yeah... how? Why?"
Changbin froze from gently drying Hyunjin's hair . "Are you asking why we're werewolves?"
