Over the entire month of December, Hyunjin has seven boyfriends. It was weird, because he had never thought he would ever be able to score one.
The holiday season passed in a blur, and during their holiday break- after new years, where it was still bitingly cold outside but more cheery because it was cold with a splash of holiday spirit- was when their small one week break was. One week to enjoy himself before the last week of his semester dubbed as 'hell week.'
It gave Hyunjun an entire week to stress over how in the hell he was going to pass his finals for his classes and study for them because there was only two weeks left in their first semester after the break.
So Hyunjin had planned to lock himself up during his break and occasionally answer the seven overprotective packs text message every other hour.
But even some of the best laid plans don't bear any fruit because for every single day of the week- one of his seven... boyfriends? Pack? Would show up at his door with a present and a date to take him on.
Seven dates for seven days of the week.
And how could Hyunjin possibly deny that? If he failed and had to retake any of his classes, then he would just blame the others and make Chan pay for the course retake fee because Chan and Jeongin were rich rich.
Since the overexcited pups couldn't decide on who got to take him out first, they went in age order- meaning that Jeongin showed up at his doorstep Monday morning to drag him away from his studies.
"Wait, let me at least change into nice clothes!" Hyunjin complained as the Makne dragged him (him and his paint stained pajamas) out of the house.
Jeongin just tugged onto their clasped hands, turning back to him with an observant look, eyes roving up and down Hyunjin in a way that made Hyunjin feel embarrassed. He hummed, "no, I like what you're wearing now. No need to change."
Hyunjin resisted a groan.
They had actually been serious about that trash bag comment.
Luckily Jeongin didn't take him anywhere public for their date- instead, he just took him back to the den where the others were lingering and pretending like they weren't eavesdropping on them the entire time.
It was cute, every time Hyunjin tilted his head to see a flash of Changbin or Felix ducking into the hallway to act all innocent.
Since Hyunjin sucked at video games so bad, Jeongin decided to take it upon himself to teach him, because the last time he had played video games, he was drowsy and half sick.
And just like the last time- Jeongin slid onto the couch behind Hyunjin, between his back and the cushion, and looped his hands around his waist to help him navigate the controller.
Jeongin liked back hugs the best because they were more protective and less personal, unlike Felix, who liked chest to chest contact so that their hearts were closer. It didn't matter to Hyunjin, because he liked any hug that was offered, so he leaned back into Jeongin's chest and shared his body heat as the clicking of the controller filled the silence, along with Jeongin's quiet instructions.
Jeongin had a cute charm to him that made Hyunjin want to squish his cheeks.
And even when Hyunjin accidentally ran his car off of the road for the third time and he frowned in frustration, Jeongin just laughed so hard that Hyunjin could feel the vibrations against his back.
"How about every time you fail, I get a kiss?" Jeongin offered hopefully, and now it was Hyunjin's turn to laugh.
"You're just saying that because you know I'll keep failing," Hyunjin pouted- and Jeongin just shrugged innocently until Hyunjin signed and agreed.
