I was in the living room eating ice cream and Eli was sitting in the kitchen. There was a knock at the door and Eli went to open it.
"Is this the apology ceremony?"
"Is she home?"
"You're brave dude. Very brave."
"Please I need to explain"
"No fuck off Matt"
"Eli?!" I got up and ran over. Eli slammed the door in Matts face at the same moment.
"You're gonna hear him out?" Eli looked at me shocked.
"Might as well"
"Fine but I'm watching"
I opened the door and Eli sat back at the kitchen watching through the window.
"Hi"
"I'm extremely sorry and I know I can't just apologize and have everything be okay. I can explain why I didn't pull away but-"
"You kissed Julie. Which by the way, you never told me anything about the history you two shared."
"It meant nothing-"
"To you. You hurt Julie and you still don't even see it"
"Silv, I'm sorry-"
"Before you continue, I honestly don't care to hear it right now. I need my own space and you clearly need yours. Maybe we can talk about it again some other day but for now I can't look at you the same." I didn't wait for a response from him, I closed the door in his face and turned around.
Immediately I broke down. Eli ran to me and gave me a hug.
"What happened?! What'd he say?!"
"I need Mimi"
(calling mimi crying then she can tell mimi abt everything that serena told her blah blah blah)

I woke up the next morning and OH YEAH. I forgot Mimi slept over! She was still asleep but I wanted to wake her up.
"PINWHEEL!!" I yelled in her ear.
"Oh my fucking god Niola I swear-" She threw a pillow at me.
"PINWHEEL!!"
"Are you good? I'll kick you"
"PINWHEEELLL- OW WHAT" She did indeed kick me off my bed.
"In my house? With my food? And my water?"
"YOU SAY THIS EVERYTIME I SLEEP OVER OH MY GOD"
"HAHAHA" I started dying laughing on the floor. My mom walked in.
"Are you girls okay?! I heard a loud noise- oh. Makes sense." She looked at me.
"HEY WHAT SHE KICKED YOUR DAUGHTER TO THE FLOOR?"
"Probably deserved"
"Thanks Mrs. Bailey!"
"Of course!" My mom finally helped me up.
"Do you girls have any plans?"
"No-" As Mimi was replying my phone chimed.
"NAI NAI YOUR BOYFRIEND TEXTED!!"
I ran to my phone. Did Matt text me again? Should I reply? What do I say?
Oh. I glared at Mimi.
"That's Thomas though?"
"Yea and he's basically your boyfriend"
"No?"
"More of a boyfriend than Matt right now"
WELL DAMN MIMI I GUESS GO THERE?!
"Are you and Matt still together?" Mom asked me.
"It's weird. I haven't answered any of his messages but we never officially broke up. I don't want to anyways."
"So you're on a break?"
"Yeah kinda like that"
"Well" She sat on my bed with Mimi and I.
"If what Mimi says is true, don't wait around for someone who doesn't respect you."
"I agree!" Mimi nodded her head while looked at me funny.
"I'm not saying dump Matt, he's a great kid and you truly seem to love him, but, if this Thomas kid is everything Mimi's been non-stop hyping him up to be, you're still young."
Hm. This can be taken different ways. I know my family loves Matt but after that clip everyone seems off about him. Oh right that text.
"Anyways I need to get Eli from a friend's house and then afterwards I have to get groceries. Let me know if you make plans!"
"Bye mom love you!"
"Bye Mrs. Bailey! Love you!"
"Bye girls love you both" She walked out.
"So what'd Thomas say?"
"He asked if I had plans"
"NOPE YOU DONT TELL HIM YOU DONT!"
"You're really excited about this it's concerning"
"YAYYY OH MY GOSH YOU GUYS CAN GO ON A DATE!!"
