I woke up Saturday morning with Jack on the floor and me spread out on his bed. Whoops. When I checked the time it was 11 am. I got up out of bed without him noticing and went to the kitchen to see if anyone else was awake. I saw Isla eating on the island.

"Goodmorning!"
"Hey Mimi what should we do today!"
"Oof sorry no car"
"Damn I didn't wanna invite him" she said rolling her eyes
"Heard that" Jack says rubbing his eyes coming downstairs
"Did I wake you?"
"Yeah your not sneaky at ALL" he giggled

Isla raised an eyebrow at me as in a 'what's yall do' type of look. I shook my head quickly before Jack could notice us.

"Alright what we doin actually let's go mall!" Isla sounded happy
"Man I'm just now feeling sober gimme a break"
"Great that means you won't be in trouble for driving!" She made an excuse
"Uh I don't know if it's a good idea for me to go outside in public" I suggested
"Come come" isla grabbed my hand and dragged her to the room

She took a curling wand sunglasses and a hat out with a hoodie and mask. She started to brush my hair then curl it really close to my head. The wand was small so the curls looks tight. Not like me at all. She gave me the gray hoodie to put on and added a dark gray hat right on top of my head. She made me try on 6 different shades just to find the ones to perfectly match. Then put a black paper mask on my mouth.

"Alright want crocs or vans?"
"Why can't I wear my shoes?"
"Because your known for wearing the same shoes religiously duhh"
"I forgot you were a fan" I sighed

"MAY I PRESENT YOU JULIANA MOORE YOUR TWIN SISTER!" Isla yelled and Jack almost spit his drink out.
"Maybe don't say that" he wiped his mouth
"Isn't my cover up amazing?!"
"Isla she looks more like a celebrity than an influencer..."
"It'll work trust!"
"Whatever you say" Jack said grabbing his keys

Timeskip to mall

As we entered I felt so many people looking at me not in a omg it's YIU! It felt more like a what celebrity are you? I look over to Jack who just kept chuckling at me as isla walked ahead of us.

"Come here" he said stopping while taking the mask off of my face.
"I promise you won't get spotted"
"If anything I think they'll notice you before me" I say laughing

We walked in a weirdly awkward silence before I spoke up.

"Can we talk?"
"If it's about yesterday I'm sorry I don't know what's wrong with me I shouldn't have put more pressure on you while you were going through so much already. I was to pushy-"
"Stop stop"
"What?"
"You didn't do anything wrong I was the one who kissed you back. I'm sorry for leading you on I'm not trying to but I really enjoy you as my best friend Jack feels like someone understands me in a way no one else could comprehend me. I think part of me longs to be with you like it would automatically fill apart of me but Chris..."

"What about him?"
"I love him. The way he'd drop something to come to me. The way he'd comfort me if I was sick. The way he would make me laugh when I need it. You know me on a mental level but not my deep level and I'm sorry but I can't love you."

"I want you to know I'm selfish. In fact I won't lie I hope you both don't work out in the end and you can come back to me. That's how selfish I am about you. I can't force you to like me though I think I realized that. Once someone is in love I guess it's hard to break them out of that love."
"I'm sorry"

"Yeah"

He stopped to give me a hug and he hugged till I barely had air to breathe.

"If by any chance it doesn't work I'll wait and wait and wait. If you're happy with him though I'll let you be happy I can't stop you. If someone were to ask me what I want more I think it's for you to be the happiest you've ever been in life. That's what I'd hope for at least.
