Julie's pov

I walked into second period and there's a seating chart on the board. However this time, I didn't sit near Matt. He sat towards the back of the room.
"Hey, ask to switch seats with me." I asked some random kid. I felt bad but I had an idea on how to befriend Matt again.
"No what?" They responded.
"I'll get you answers on every assignment."
"Fine. Mr? Can I switch seats with Julie? I can't see so far."
"That's fine! Thank you, Julie!" The teacher said smiling.
"Of course!" I smiled but immediately dropped it when I sat down in the seat diagonally behind Matt. I could hear Matt sigh.

If I'm being honest, I haven't talked to Mimi or Nai much since the party. Which is weird because we were all super close. Rhyme, Mimi, Nai, Nick and I were the best group ever and I couldn't spend a day without them. But now things are different. I love Nai and I thought I'd be fine with their relationship but, dating your best friends ex? That's extremely weird if you think about it. Well I guess Matt and I aren't technically exes.

"Psst."
"What"
"Can I talk to you?"
"Teachers talking!" He said then turned around.
"I'm serious."
"Text me then."
"fine."

Great. 'I'm not accepting anything until you talk to Nai' why do you have to be such a good boyfriend to her, but I could barely get the bare minimum. Less than that.

The period was over, and I had texted Nai during passing period. She was with Matt so they both saw it and of course with what I said Matt agreed to be friends and he accepted my apology. We made plans to hangout later this week. I would be thrilled but I wish him and Nai weren't together. Does that make me a bad person? Probably, but, you can't blame me. Right?

Rhyme's pov

I said bye to Julie and walked into my second period, with Chris.
"Hey!" I spoke. He ignored me.
"Oh come on Chrissy the party happened forever ago"
"It's only been a few months and either way I don't care and I don't want to get back together." He scoffed as he walked in. Geez that was harsh.

I texted Julie about it.
