-Flashback-
I wake up on the weekend with absolutely nothing to do. I had already posted an instagram story how we'd take a break this week anyways so I couldn't edit ethier.
"Hey what you doinggggg" Noah says coming into my room
"I got up not even ten minutes ago so nothing really"
Noah and Cam were about ten years old when it all happened that day. I don't blame them for feeling a certain way ethier.
"Wow I'm supprised your not talking to Ezraaa" he laughed
"Oh my god just because you hear me and Nai talk about stuff doesn't mean it's your buisness" I throw a pillow at him for him to leave.
Nai still hadn't been talking to me at all the day and I really missed her. Kinda like my sister was holding a grudge against me for years. (mom is that you? Jokinggggh) Rhyme and Julie has already posted they were out and honestly I really wanted to be with Nick today.

I hadn't told Nick on what a saw that day because I didn't feel Nai's buisness should be spread to everyone I know that's fucked up. (Take notes Zoey! I'm halarious) I took a shower and put on makeup. I put on a pair of shorts with a short sleeve and a hoodie on top for the breeze.
"Peace I'm off" I barge into Cam and Noah's room
"What were you going?" Cam sounded jealous
"I'm going to nicks house"
"Hey I love Nick can I come!" Noah asks
"Me too me too!"
"No and no"
"Just say you hate us Mimi" Noah says rolling his eyes
"Don't say that I love you both goodbye" I close there door on the way out then got my bike.
His house wasn't all that far and it felt nice out today. I rode in the middle of the street like I had always done. If I knew then what I knew now I would've never been that reckless. I arive and toss my bike on the garage door. I walk into the house cause of course the door is unlocked and end up bumping into a guy on my way in.
"Bye N-!" He said before bumping into me
"Ow" I say when I obviously didn't mean to
"Oh really sorry Mimi I didn't see you there. Bye to you too though."
"Chris watch we're your going" the other brother followed him out
He walked out the door as if nothing has happened it was kinda funny. I realized those were his brothers after a solid second. I head upstairs to nicks room with his room wide open.
"Mimi oh my god you take forever"
"Sorry sorry I was riding my bike today. Why aren't you going with your brothers?"
"Eh there only going to Nate's house. Wait you met my brothers?"
"No I just bumped into Chris then they left"
"Why are they so rude oh my god"
"It's fine wanna go to the park now?"
"Uhm hell yes let's go!"
We got are bikes from the back and headed to the park and oh my lord almost everyone and there mother where in that plaza. Rhyme and Julie had been hanging out there too.
"No offense but let's hang out just us then maybe say hi later."
"You read my mind Nicky"
We sat on a big round swing talking for what felt like a solid hour.
"Oh my god Noah and Cam would've liked it here" Nick says looking at the park
"Don't remind me of that guilt I said they couldn't come"
"NO WHYYY"
"In all fairness I thought of the park last minute besides I'll take them tomorrow or something."
"Wait Mimi turn around but don't make it look obvious"
I turn around all the way
"Bitch what did I just say."
"Oh my god no way"
"Look back oh my god" Nick says forcing my head to look at him.
"You should say hi to him" Nick continued
"No he's with his friends that's weird"
"Oh my god Mimi are you ever gonna do something about it. If you both don't start talking by summer I'll snatch your phone and do it myself by the way. I already know you never focus in your science class cause of him."
"HEY DID NAI TELL YOU THAT?!"
"Maybe"
I look back at Ezra then back to Nick
"Let's go Mimi remember we were gonna say hi to Julie and rhyme right about now!"
"HEY WHAT?!"
We walk towards Ezra and he sticks out his hand.
"Hey Mimi!" He said with a really big smile on his face.
"Oh hi Ezra" I give a light smile back but I could feel my heart pounding.
I hear his friends whisper behind me but I pay no mind. We finally reach to where Julie and rhyme had been and got ice cream for the four of us. Strawberry, chocolate caramel , vanilla is what we all ordered.
"Oh my god this is so good I cant" Julie says taking another bite of her ice cream.
"I know right without a doubt I love this place"
"I just can't wait for summer" rhyme says with a sigh
"Oh my god water parks the beachside"
"TGE TANS?!" Julie said exited
As much as I absolutely adore summer I can only imagine Nai in my head. I bet she'd hate it. She can't cover them. I recalled are conversation I had with her that led to her not talking to me. I would've done it even if I knew she would never talk to me again. I knew that.
"Hey Nick I think ima go home now did u wanna stay?"
"Yeah I'll stay longer but go home safe girl"
"Will do bye bye guys" I wave back
"Bye Mimi!" I hear Julie and Rhyme scream
As I drive back I text my mom that I'm heading back home to get a text from her telling me to pick up Cam from her friends house. I was planning on trying to talk to Nai at her house but I guess that could wait. It was 20 minutes. 20 minutes I had to talk. When I got cam it was 10 minutes. On my way home was another 10. And there she was. Ambulance and all. Like it was almost waiting for me too see. I peddle faster csusing Cam to grab me harder but I didn't care. I slid off my bike to see my family and Nai's outside. Some had been a few other nabors.
"Move please move" I quickly pushed through but when I looked at her she was lifeless. I felt tears fill up then a tug on my sleeve. Eli looked like he was crying for hours. I quickly sipped my tears away so Eli wouldn't see and picked him up to hug him.
"I'm so sorry I wasn't here" I whispered to him. Yet. All he did was cry. It broke my heart repeatedly but this is his time not mines. I'm so sorry. Please let her stay...
I arrive at the hospital with Nai's family and wait in the room by her side with Eli laying right next to her.
