The Fifth Member for a Summer or Two

Chapter Eleven

Some how, all 5 of us ended up in 1 bed.

And I was in the middle.

We all slept like this.

Luke had his head under my chin, curled into my chest. Cal was curled up, spooning with Luke. Ashton had his arm around my waist, with his face snuggled into my neck. I could feel his soft breathing. I could see Michael, but my guess was that he was also spooning with Ash.

I was tracing small patterns into the skin of Luke's arm when all of a sudden, the door to my room burst open, making all four boys jump and Cal and Michael to fall out of bed.

A flustered John came bursting in, Liz following.

"Are you serious?! We've been looking for you boys everywhere!" He said.

"What?" Cal mumbled rubbing his eyes.

"We went to do wakeup call and we couldn't find you four!" John said.

"And you didn't check in here until now?" Ashton said sleepily.

"Well...no." John said calming down.

"Can you guys at least give us some kind of notice next time?" He sighed.

They all groaned in agreement.

Luke lay back down and cuddled back into me, resting his head in my lap. I chuckled and started playing with his hair, knowing how much he liked it.

"No! It is time to get up! We have a couple meetings about your album to go to and then we're going to take you to the house you're going to stay in after the TMH tour. And then you guys get on a plane tonight." John said.

"Wait...I thought we didn't fly out until tomorrow..." I said.

"Change in plans. I figured we could get you guys home for some time with your family as soon as possible." John said smiling.

"Just so you guys know: I'll be staying with my parents for at least a week." I said.

"Saaame." Ashton laughed. "I actually kind of miss Lauren and Harry."

"I know. I miss Austin, and Alex, and apparently my parents have some kind of news for me..." I said.

"Oh! Lily hasn't told you?" Liz asked.

"What?" I said, scrunching my eyebrows.

"Oh. Lily and I have gotten close since you guys left for the tour." Liz explained.

That actually really shocked me. Lily was waaay younger than dad. So was my real mom. She was 16 when they had Alex and he was 20. Lily is only 33. Liz is older. Oh well.

"Wait...so you know?!" I asked.

"Yeah! I've known for a while! And no, I will not tell you." She laughed.

"Damn it." I said under my breath.

"Alright, you guys need to get up and get ready and be down in the lobby in a little over an hour." John said checking his watch.

"Well, I don't know how you expect me to get ready with you standing there staring at me!" I laughed.

"Don't be late!" He hollered after us as he walked out.

Michael and Calum stood up first.

"I want to shower, so I'll see you guys down there." Michael said.

"Same." Cal said following him.

Luke still had his head in my lap.

Ash came and lay down behind him, spooning him.
