Can I just say that it is extremely hard to get used to living with a pregnant woman?

I've only been home for 2 days and Lily is already driving me crazy.

She split a glass of water yesterday and cried. For an hour. And Dad wasn't home to help deal with it, so I had to. And I'm still super jet lagged, so that doesn't help me either.

Loser Hemmings<3:

Hey baby. I'm coming over. :)

Gooood. It's only been 48 hours and I miss my boys.

I decided that I should probably just go down and meet him at the door. I haven't told them that Lily's prego, and I don't think her opening the door would be a good way for him to find out.

I thought about changing and trying to look nice, but decided that my short clothe shorts and cut up Nirvana shirt was good enough. I did throw on a beanie before running down though.

I went outside and sat on the steps to our porch. About 10 minutes later a car pulled up into our driveway and Luke jumped out.

"Bye mum." He said before closing the door.

"Hi Liz!" I said standing up and waving.

"Hi Annie! I'll come get him whenever you're tired of him!" She laughed.

She backed up and buzzed on down the road.

I grabbed Luke's hand and pulled him up the steps. I was just about to open the door when I remembered I had to tell him about Lily.

"Lily's pregnant." I said whipping around.

"As in your step-mum?" He asked clearly confused.

"Yeah..." I said.

"....oh. Okay." He said.

"Figured I'd give you a heads up, because we'll probably walk past the living room and she'll be a crying mess over her soaps." I said.

"Okay." He chuckled.

"Hi by the way. I missed you." I said before planting a kiss on his lips and pulling away.

"I missed you too." He smiled.

I turned back to the door and pulled him through it. We walked past the living room on our way to the stairs and I was most definitely right.

Lily sobbing at the TV.

"Lil? You okay?" I asked popping only my head back in.

"Why do bad things happen to such good people?" She sobbed.

I think that's what she said. She was speaking every clearly.

"I don't know. But, I'm going to be upstairs with Luke. Just holler if you need anything." I said kindly.

"Okay." She said, softly.

"Hi Luke. I'm Lily. You'll have to excuse my pregnant hormones." She smiled weakly.

"Oh, it's okay." He said smiling. "It's lovely to finally meet you."

"Same. I won't keep you any longer. Go ahead upstairs." She said looking back at the TV.

I led him the rest of the way up to my room. As soon as I pulled my stairs up, he flopped down on my bed and chuckled.

"Wow. You weren't joking." He laughed.

"No. I wasn't. And it's driving me crazy. She split water yesterday and cried for almost an hour." I complained.

He just laughed.
