The day after the festival, the group had decided to take a much-needed break. They were all exhausted from the intense competition, but the team couldn't resist taking a trip to the beach to unwind.

The weather was perfect: the sun was shining brightly, the waves were just the right height for some fun in the water, and the salty breeze made everything feel more relaxed.

Rin had suggested it as a way to relax after a long stretch of training, and naturally, everyone jumped at the opportunity. You, of course, were eager to go—mainly because it gave you a chance to spend some quiet time with Rin outside of Blue Lock's competitive atmosphere.

You showed up at the beach in a simple yet cute outfit—an oversized white shirt with some light blue shorts and a pair of sunglasses. It was perfect for the sunny day. What you didn't expect was for Rin to show up wearing an outfit that almost exactly matched yours.

He stood beside you, hands in his pockets, wearing a white shirt and blue shorts. It wasn't a perfect match in the sense that you were wearing the exact same clothes, but the color scheme and vibe were unmistakable.

"Are we... matching?" you asked, raising an eyebrow.

Rin glanced at you, seemingly unaware at first, then his eyes lingered on the way the white and blue colors tied your outfits together. "Guess so," he replied, his usual aloofness slipping a little as he looked at you with a faint, amused smile. "I didn't plan it like this."

You couldn't help but laugh. "Sure you didn't. You definitely look like you did."

The team started gathering around, and soon enough, everyone noticed your matching outfits.

"Oh ho," Bachira said, his grin widening as he took in both of your outfits. "You two are really doing this, huh?"

"We didn't plan it!" you protested, feeling your face heat up.

"Yeah, yeah," Chigiri added, winking at you both. "We're all onto you two. You know you match perfectly, right?"

"Wait, are they actually matching?" Isagi asked, squinting. He turned to look at Rin and you, taking in the details. "Huh. They really are."

"Just like a couple," Nagi said, his voice surprisingly teasing. "The Blue Lock Couple™."

The teasing continued as you all made your way to the beach, where you played volleyball, built sandcastles, and swam in the waves. But despite all the distractions, you couldn't shake the feeling that everyone was keeping an eye on you and Rin.

Every time you two were together, it was like people couldn't help but notice the connection between you. And with your matching outfits, it felt almost like the universe was in on the joke.

The day at the beach was pure chaos, in the best way. Bachira challenged everyone to a beach volleyball match, while Chigiri and Isagi ran off to try surfing for the first time (and mostly wiped out in the process). Rin stayed by your side for most of it, catching up with you in between beach activities.

It felt so different from being on the field. The pressures of Blue Lock and the intense competition felt far away, replaced by a calm, peaceful energy that you didn't know you needed.

At one point, Rin handed you a coconut drink as you relaxed under the umbrella. "You should try it. It's not bad," he said, passing you the cold beverage.

You took a sip, raising an eyebrow at him. "You really are trying to match me, huh?"

Rin smirked, but there was something different about the way he looked at you. Something softer. "I just thought you'd like it."

You gave him a playful look. "You sure this wasn't all part of your plan to make us seem like a couple?"

His smile widened just slightly. "Maybe a little."

You rolled your eyes, but the heat in your chest was unmistakable.

As the sun set and the beach started to empty out, the group decided to turn the day into an impromptu sleepover. The energy of the day had worn everyone out, but instead of heading home, everyone was in the mood to relax and hang out a little longer.

The team piled into the rented beach house they'd booked for the weekend, setting up for a night of food, music, and—inevitably—more teasing.

"Alright, the real party starts now," Bachira declared as he threw a bag of chips on the table. "We're going all night! Let's watch a movie!"

"No, we're not doing a horror movie again," Isagi protested, but Bachira was already starting a horror film on the TV.

You glanced at Rin, who was sitting next to you on the couch. The others were scattered around, but it felt like you and him were in your own little world.

"So," you started, shifting nervously, "did you really think we'd match outfits today?"

Rin looked at you with that same calm, almost indifferent expression. "No. But it worked out, didn't it?"

"I guess," you said, fighting back a smile. "Everyone's making such a big deal out of it."

"Let them," Rin replied, leaning back and relaxing against the couch. "They're just jealous of our matching style."

You let out a small laugh, your heart skipping a beat.

As the night wore on, the group became more and more chaotic, and their teasing reached a new level.

"You know what this means, right?" Bachira said, nudging you both as the movie started playing in the background. "You two have matching outfits, the kiss, the victory—this is practically a romantic comedy plotline."

"I knew it!" Chigiri added, bouncing in his seat. "You two are so obvious now."

"It's really hard to deny it when you're both literally wearing the same thing," Nagi said, leaning back with a bored look on his face, though even he seemed amused.

Isagi grinned. "So when's the wedding? Or should we start planning the first anniversary?"

"Guys, it's not like that," you said, but even you were starting to laugh along.

The teasing was relentless, but this time, it didn't feel annoying. It felt right. You were with the people who had been with you through thick and thin. And maybe, just maybe, you didn't mind the attention that much anymore.

Rin didn't say anything, but his expression softened as he looked at you, and for a brief moment, you could feel the unspoken bond between you two.

He gave you a small, knowing smile. "Let them talk," he said quietly, his voice just loud enough for you to hear over the chaos. "As long as you're okay with it."

You smiled back, nodding. "Yeah. I'm okay with it."

As the night stretched on, the team continued to joke and tease, but you and Rin stayed side by side, quietly enjoying the company of each other, the beach day that had been unexpectedly perfect, and the moments that were slowly shaping the beginning of something special.
