Chapter 12. Confessions
“Amy what has happened to you? We used to be so close.” Was what mum said when everyone had left. After mum had kicked Sam and Joanne out she sat me and Adam down but I refused to talk to Adam and Mandy dragged him home so she could have the same lecture as my mum was having with me.
“Mum nothing has happened I am still the same.” I said shaking my head. She frowned at me.
“Then why do you have flour in your hair then?” Mum asked. She then yanked some of my hair out and showed me.
But before I could say anything mum said. “Did Adam do this to you?” She stood up with her hands on her hips. “Because if he did...” she walked over to the phone. I stood in front of it. “No mum it wasn’t Adam can I just please go to my room.” I said. I was so close to crying.
“Not until you tell me what happened.” Mum sounded stern.
I sat down with mum and explained everything to her.
“Oh Amy why didn’t you tell me earlier. I could of had a chat with Mandy and this would all of been sorted out.” Mum said hugging me.
“Mum you have enough to deal with, you don’t need my problems as well.”
Mum made us both a drink and sat back down with me. “Don’t worry about anything. I will sort it all out. I promise.” She held my hand and looked into my eyes and I believed that she would help me.
