Reluctantly, Featherpaw opened her eyes to the dream world, but to her surprise, she could see, which only meant one thing, she was back in Starclan's hunting grounds! Seeing this place, she realized with a jolt she hadn't told her mentor about how she could see here but she quickly forgot about that when she saw Dapplemist. "Greetings Featherpaw, come closer, I need to tell you something" the Starclan cat's voice lowered to a whisper "First comes the fall of white, a great secret revealed, the rush of water, a sweep of shadow, the vines will attack, the fire will consume and light will disappear until a feather appears to destroy the spirit's evil claw." Featherpaw tilted her head in thought, thinking about this prophecy, until Dapplemist's voice bought her back, "I must go young apprentice, I wish you luck, I wish I could help, but I'm your Starclan mentor and cannot take form on clan territory, just remember that no matter where you are, I'll always be guiding your paws. After that, Dapplemist began to fade away and Featherpaw woke to her mentor's gentle mew "Featherpaw wake up, it's Dawnpaw, Mousepaw and Petalpaw's Warrior ceremony!" Featherpaw woke at once, suddenly leaping up to her paws and raced to the clearing, she knew the camp so well now that she could navigate around it like a normal cat. Arriving just in time, she sat beside Moonblossom and purred as her sisters and mother came to join them. Violetstar's voice rang through the camp, "Today we gathered to give three apprentices their warrior names, Dawnpaw, Mousepaw and Petalpaw, please come forward." Violetstar continued "I call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices, Dawnpaw, Mousepaw and Petalpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protect this clan, even at the cost of your life?" a few moments the apprentices answered determinedly "I do." Violetstar's voice sounded again, this time, Featherpaw braced her ears for the cheer, flattening her ears in preparation "Then by the powers of Starclan, Petalpaw, from this day on you will be known as Petalfall, Starclan honors your kindness and courage, we welcome you as a warrior of Thunderclan. Mousepaw, from this day on you will be known as Mousetail, Starclan honors your bravery and your energy, we welcome you as a full warrior of Thunderclan. Dawnpaw, from this day on you will be known as Dawnfeather, Starclan honors your patience and your skill, we welcome you as a warrior of Thunderclan!" Featherpaw closed her eyes as the cheer erupted through the clan, she joined in, since Dawnfeather and Petalfall were her sisters from an older litter. When it finally stopped, Violetstar jumped of the rock and Featherpaw gladly returned to the medicine den.
