A cat who Featherkit had never scented before pushed her way into the nursery, she smelled of herbs and from what Flowermist had just yowled, she guessed the new cat was Moonblossom."Flowermist what in the name of Starclan are you yowling about?" her voice was kind and soothing, a bit like Flowermist's"My kit!" Flowermist picked Featherkit up and placed her in front of Moonblossom. Taking a closer look at the kit in front of her, Moonblossom nodded and turned to Flowermist." We need to go outside to talk about this, bring that kit with you." she pointed her tail to Featherkit, who was staring sightlessly at the two she-cats, her head tilted in confusion. Quickly, Moonblossom introduced herself."I'm moonblossom and I'm the Thunderclan medicine cat, can you go outisde for me so i can check you up?"
Once outside the nursery, Moonblossom started giving Flowermist instructions."sit there and call to your kit" she told her. Flowermist, who was looking confused, paused a moment and did it"Featherkit! Come here!" she called out, and Featherkit, spun around, opening her tiny mouth and staying in place for a moment before scurrying over to her mother and reciving a lick on the head, which she purred in delight at, then sat beside her mother, tail wraped neatly aroung her little paws. then Flowermist saw Moonblossom flick her tail, the gesture of a silent way of telling a cat to come, but Featherkit didn't move, only pricking her ears when she heard the rustle of the medicine cat's tail.
Moonblossom nodded, crouching to speak to Featherkit"Ok"she told the young kit"it's all done, you can go back to the nursery now, I need to speak to your mother" she nudged Featherkit towards the nursery and went over to Flowermist, who was waiting patiently."I'm sorry sister"Moonblossom murmured once everyone was out of sight"The kit I gave you is blind"
