Flowermist POV:
Flowermist paced nervously in front of the medicine den, anxiously awaiting her daughter and sister's return, they had left for the moonpool, despite Featherpaw's injuries and she was worried sick, hoping that they were ok. her mate saw and came over to comfort her as Whitecloud guided her gently to the warrior's den, "Get some sleep Flowermist, worrying will do you no good." Flowermist nodded, curling up beside her mate and reluctantly falling asleep.
Featherpaw smiled as Moonblossom said "Let's share with starclan tonight" without another word, the medicine cats touched their noses to the moonpool and Featherpaw did the same, exited to see Dapplemist again. Closing her eyes, she let the sensation of going into the Starclan hunting ground surround her. Opening her eyes, she purred in delight as she saw her Starclan mentor sitting in front of her. "Dapplemist!" Featherpaw purred, racing over, she realized she was no longer in pain here. "Featherpaw, I can tell you've been thinking about the prophecy, and it's started. You must tell your mentor, since the other Starclan cats insist we tell you and you only, be careful." after that she faded, leaving Featherpaw to wake up, wincing as she stood up on her three good legs. On the journey home, she paused a second and sat down, her injured paw dangling in an awkward angle. "Are you ok Featherpaw, do you want to rest?" Moonbossom asked, her eyes clouded with concern. Featherpaw shook her head and stood up unsteadily, determined to carry on.
Upon their arrival, Flowermist raced up to them and greeted them, clearly relieved that her youngest daughter and sister were ok and made it back safely. Soon after the three she-cats made their way back to the medicine den, Flowermist quietly waved her tail and left mentor and apprentice alone to rest, Featherpaw quietly collapsed into her nest, falling asleep within seconds, but Moonblossom stayed awake, wondering what to do with the secret she kept for to long.
Moonblossom POV:
After her apprentice fell fast asleep after they returned from the moonpool, Moonblossom started pacing around the medicine den, she thought about the secret she had kept for so long, was it worth risking it? The medicine cat let out a sigh, the secret is a mistake that she never should have done...
