"May all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather around the Highrock for a clan meeting!" Violetstar's voice rang through the clearing and excitement pulsed through Featherkit, it was her and her littermates apprenticeship ceremony, and she would become a medicine cat apprentice. as the cats began to gather the three of them sat at the front, tiny beside the huge warriors. Then, it started.
"Today we have a very special ceremony, three young kits shall start their apprenticeship" Violetstar announced. "Cloudkit, you have reached the age of six moons and is therefore ready to start your apprenticeship, from this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be called Cloudpaw. Fernleaf, your mentor was Nightwhisper, pass on your skills and courage to this young apprentice." the two touched noses and stepped aside, the leader continued"Amberkit, you have reached the age of six moons and is therefore ready to start your apprenticeship, from this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be called Amberpaw. Birdsong, your mentor was Goldenheart , pass on your hunting abilities and bravery to this young apprentice." as they touched noses the leader moved on. It was Featherkit's turn
This time though, instead of violetstar's voice, it was Moonblossom who did her's. Leaping onto the Highrock beside the leader, she meowed. "Cats of Thunderclan, it is time for me to take on an apprentice. Your next medicine cat will be Featherpaw." suddenly Violetstar's voice returned "Featherpaw, do you accept the post of apprentice to Moonblossom?" Featherkit's reply was strong and determined"I do"she mewed, "Then at half moon, you must travel to the moonstone to be accepted by starclan and the other medicine cats. May the good wishes of all of Thunderclan go with you." Violetstar finished. "The meeting is over!" She announced before leaping of the highrock along with her new mentor, who padded over. "Come on" she mewed encouragingly "let's get started"
