Arriving at the Moonpool, Featherpaw was ready to collapse, her legs were so tired, she couldn't wait so find her mentor and report back, by the time she and Fernpool arrived, the others were there and they greeted Featherpaw warmly. After the greeting, the young silver tabby collapsed beside the Moonpool and panted, "Know who the cats are now, mission accomplished." Moonflower purred in praise and let her apprentice rest while the other medicine cats share news and everything. After a moment of absolute silence, Moonblossom made an announcement. "Today I will give Featherpaw her full medicine cat name, I'm sure you'll agree that after today, she deserves it!" All the other medicine cats nodded in agreement, that was it, the ceremony has started...
"I, medicine cat of Thunderclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of a medicine cat, and with your help she will serve her clan for many moons." Moonblossom's eyes shone with pride, not just a mentor's pride, but a mother's to. "Featherpaw, do you promise to uphold the ways of a medicine cat, to stand apart from Clan rivalry and to protect all cats equally, even at the cost of your life?" Featherpaw knew what her answer was, this was what she wanted all her life, this one moment, to say the words destined for her all along. "I do." she replied, her voice steady but the truth was that emotion wreathed around her and images flashed around her head, from the first day of her apprenticeship, becoming friends with Silvercloud, working so hard on the prophecy, finding out her true identity, going all around the clans to unite them for the dangers ahead all the way up to this moment, these 14 moons of training, she was grateful for it, the support of her friends, her mentor who was at the same time her mother and starclan who was always guiding her paws, for one moment, she felt like Moonblossom had been her kind, loving mother all along. In this short few seconds she felt all of these emotions and was grateful for what she had and that her life was destined like this. Moonblossom continued, "Then by the powers of Starclan I give you your true name as a medicine cat. Featherpaw, from this moment on you will be known as..."
Author's Note: I know this is a very short chapter but this note will be quite long, firstly, I want to thank all of you who were with me throughout all of it, supporting me, reading and the very fact that you were with me watching Featherpaw grow up. I'm very grateful. This is also the last chapter of this book but it will become a series, look out for the next book of the series: Warrior Cats: A Sky Without Stars. This is a very emotional time for me, planning out Featherpaw's life from a tiny kit to now, a full medicine cat, almost. I also want to thank some specific people. First, Moonstar5192013 for being with me all the way, helping me plan loads of the names and giving me so many ideas to keep my book going. Second, Cinamorollwillow for supporting me so much, helping me plan out our main protagonist's life and naming all the books of the series with me.
