Lotus Jones

I readjusted my book bag as I continued walking the halls. I heard music and stopped walking before peeping into the room.

I seen a woman playing on the piano as I walked further inside. She played the keys so effortlessly, she looked up and jumped.

"My, I didn't see you there." She smiled standing.

"I'm sorry, I'm Lotus." I said.

She looked at me for a second before she extended her hand.

"Um, Ms.Thomas." She said shaking my hand.

"I'm a friend of Lilacs." I said.

"Oh right, she has told me so much about you." She laughed.

I smiled.

"I was wondering if you didn't mind, could you braid my hair like Lilacs?" I asked.

She looked at me and smiled.

"I'll love too,  we can ride to my house this Friday." She suggested.

I nodded.

"Do you play any music?" She asked.

"No, my dad told me my mom use to." I explained.

"Your mom? Past tense?" She asked.

"I would assume she's dead since I've never met her." I shrugged.

She looked at me before nodding.

"I apologize for asking." She said.

"It's fine, I have to head to class before I began getting loss." I chuckled.

She nodded before I walked away. I made it to my locker and removed my backpack.

"Hey pretty."

I looked up to see In-Soo, this guy gives me the fucking creeps. He stayed at the 7/11 with his gang for hours before they left.

"Uh Hey, In-Soo." I said.

"Hey, any plans tonight?" He asked.

"Yeah, I have to go to track practice." I said.

"And after?" He asked.

"Studying." I said closing my locker.

He chuckled.

"Are you gay or something?" He asked.

"No, I'm just not interested. I'm sorry." I shrugged.

He sucked in his breath and stuffed his hands in his pants.

"You will be." He smirked.

I tilted my head and looked at him.

"Excuse me?" I asked.
