Lotus Jones
I grabbed my book bag before I walked out of my room. I jogged downstairs to see Ms.Thomas drinking from a mug.
"Good morning." I smiled.
"Good morning Lotus. How are you feeling?" She asked.
"Better. Thank you again for letting me stay here." I said.
"Oh it's nothing, you're family." She smiled.
My smile slowly dropped, I've heard that before...
"Everything ok?" She asked.
"Uh yeah." I said nodding my head.
Lilac jogged down the stairs and smiled as she looked at me.
"Ready?" I asked.
"Yeah, we can pick up breakfast on the way." She said.
I smiled and nodded following her out of the house. I got into her car before placing my book bag in between my legs.
"Have you talk to Won-Yung?" She asked.
"Nope. Think I'm just going to...keep my distance. I'm keeping my word about beating his sister's ass every chance I get." I scoffed.
"I don't blame you, what she did was disrespectful." Lilac said.
"I can't be friends with him and still fight his sister." I shrugged.
"Yeah, I get it. How long are you going to beat the shit out of her?" She asked.
"Until I'm not mad. I hold a longer grudge than a fucking crow." I sighed.
She chuckled.
"It's good with you living at my house. It's fun, it's like having a sister." She smiled.
"Yeah, it is nice. It's so positive there." I smiled.
"Have you thought of where you're going for college?" She asked.
"I know what I'm choosing." I said.
"And what is that?" She asked.
"K.Uni...best way to go honestly. Full athletic scholarship, I'm going. I'll be stupid not to." I sighed.
"I get it, at least we could dorm together." She said.
"Yeah." I smiled.
She parked the car before killing the engine.
"Ma'am I thought we were getting food?" I groaned.
"We are...from the convenience store." She said.
I rolled my eyes before unbuckling my seat belt. I got out and closed the door behind me.
"We could've stopped at McDonald's." I groaned.
