Song Kang
I watched as Lotus nodded her head to the music and smiled. She is so beautiful, no make up needed, her hair in its natural state was enough. Since Christmas we've spent everyday together.
We've been seeing each other more often without Lilac and Won-Yung and I've enjoyed it. Not that I have a problem with Lilac or Won-Yung but I liked when her attention was only on me.
Tonight was New Years Eve, and since Won-Yung was spending it with his family and Lilac and her mom already had a trip planned to her home country. I wanted to spend it with Lotus, so she wouldn't be alone.
"Kang." She said.
"Huh?" I asked.
"Are you listening to me?" She asked.
"I'm sorry, Lola, what did you say?" She asked.
"I said I got you something." She smiled.
"What is it?" I asked sitting up.
She smiled before digging into her duffle bag. She pulled out a small box and sat it in front of me.
"I know whatever jewelry this is, is fake...brokey." I joked.
She smacked me upside my head causing me to groan.
"Open it." She said.
"Ok, damn." I huffed.
I opened the box and pulled out a charm bracelet before glancing at her.
"I made it, I made one for you, Won-Yung-"
I smacked my lips.
"Why'd you have to make one for them? I thought I was special." I scoffed rolling my eyes.
She rolled her eyes.
"Theirs is different, you and I have matching ones." She said holding her wrist up.
I grabbed her wrist and looked at her bracelet before holding mine up. One of my charms connected to hers spelling out best friends.
"Ok not that's cool." I smiled.
She giggled and grabbed the bracelet out of my hand.
"Give me your wrist." She said.
I chuckled before placing my wrist in her lap. She carefully put the bracelet on, I slowly caressed her cheek causing her to look at me and smile.
"Anyway, it's 11:50, any New Year's resolutions?" She asked.
"No, I don't have any." I said.
"Lame." She chuckled.
"What about you?" I asked.
"Hmmm, try to walk away from situations I can't control." She said.
